Located in southern Ireland, the city of Limerick should undoubtedly be added to your bucket list! It is beautifully located in a Romanesque building right next to the People's Park. Dedicated to the author of Angela's Ashes, the Frank McCourt Museum is also worth visiting.

The landmark attracting the biggest crowds of people while Limerick sightseeing is the imposing King John's Castle. Dating back to the 13th century, the castle is currently partially used as an exhibition space. The site also features the imposing twin gate towers, which you can climb for some picturesque views.

As for other points of interest to consider putting on your Limerick itinerary, St. Mary's Cathedral, the Toll House, and The Milk Market are also truly worth exploring while in the area.
