Suzdal: Russia's Golden Ring Gem

The ancient town of Suzdal is a must-see while in Russia. Situated near the capital Moscow, it is one of the main stops on the Golden Ring route, providing with some truly picturesque sites, landscapes, and monuments to discover.

One of the most visited landmarks in the lovely town is the Kremlin, dating back to the 12th century. The site is home to several churches and buildings including the Nativity of the Virgin Cathedral, which actually appears on the UNESCO Heritage List. Its charming blue star-decorated domes are an inseparable part of the scenery of this unique location.
