Located within walking distance from the Rotunda, the Arch of Galerius is also worth paying a visit to. Arching over the Egnatia Street, it was built to memorialize the Roman Emperor Galerius and his victories. The landmark features intricate carvings of the emperor and numerous historical scenes, as well as other detailed images. If history is something you enjoy, don't miss the chance to visit the Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki, boasting an exceptional display of ancient exhibits.
