Welcome to the European capital of music - charming Vienna! Upon arrival, you check in to the hotel, nestled in the very heart of the amazing city. The rest of the day is free for you to either rest after a journey or start exploring glorious Vienna on your own.

City Tour & Vienna State Opera

Today your guide takes you on a 4-hour walking tour of downtown Vienna. You start at the State Opera House and walk through the Karntnerstrasse, a shopping street in the pedestrian zone in the city center, to St. Stephen’s Cathedral. Then walk along the Graben und the Kohlmarkt, a very exquisite shopping area, to the Imperial Palace Hofburg, the former winter residence of the Habsburgs. It now houses the Imperial Apartments, Sisi Museum, Imperial Silver Chamber, Austrian National Library and much more.

Your next stop is Ring avenue, home to the Museums of Fine Art and National History, the Parliament, the City Hall, and the Burgtheater. During the tour, you also admire Neuer Markt and the Capuchin Monastery.

Next, you enjoy a 40-minute group tour of Vienna State Opera (or Wiener Staatsoper), covering a lot of things, usually hidden from the evening audience. The tour route starts from the foyer, then you take the grand staircase, leading to the beautiful staterooms, such as the Tea Salon, Schwind Foyer, and the Marble Hall. After that, you finally reach the auditorium and have a chance to admire the main stage. After the tour, you return to your hotel.

As a highlight of the day, we invite you to an amazing show at the Vienna State Opera (transfers are included).

Schonbrunn Palace & Vienna Woods Exploration

After breakfast, your guide and driver take you on a 4-hour touring program around the most significant sites within the boundaries and in the surrounding area of Vienna. During the tour, you explore the Vienna Woods, the most eastern foothills of the majestic Alps. You enjoy the stunning views over the city and Danube River from Kahlenberg, the highest hill in artistic Vienna.

Then you drive through the wine area in the foot of the Vienna Woods, the town of Grinzing, and learn why Vienna is called the 'Wine-Growing Capital of the World'.

Next on your list is the magnificent Schonbrunn Palace, the former summer royal residence, that gives you a historical impression of the glorious imperial times. A highlight is a guided inside visit to the showrooms of the Palace.

After the tour, you return to your hotel in Vienna and have the rest of the day free.

Train to Salzburg & City Tour

In the morning, you check out from the Vienna hotel and go to the rail station to catch a Vienna - Salzburg train. On your way, you pass the charming city of Linz and enjoy the views over the breathtaking Danube. Upon arrival, you check in to your centrally located hotel and have some time to rest.

Later you meet your private guide and embark on an exciting tour of Salzburg and the Lake Region. You discover the UNESCO-listed Historic Centre of the City of Salzburg with its medieval fortress, baroque palaces, and churches. You see the Getreidegasse and Mozart's birthplace, pass by the Festival Houses where the Salzburg Festival is held every year, stroll along the narrow streets and enjoy the flair of this old city.

After the tour, you return back to your hotel or continue exploring Salzburg on your own.

Mozart Tour & Concert at Mirabell Palace

Today you get a chance to learn about one of the greatest musical geniuses of all times - Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. And there is no better way to do it than visiting his hometown. Following breakfast, you meet your guide-driver you in the lobby and together you head to Mozart's Birthplace, one of the most visited museums in Austria.

Your next stop is the Residence, housing some of the furniture and musical instrument, originally belonging to the brilliant composer. After a 3-hour tour, you return to charming Salzburg.

  • Please, note: the tour has limited availability during Mozart week (January, 23 to February, 2).

As an icing on the cake, you are invited to the concert hall at the amazing Mirabell Palace (located within walking distance from the hotel) to enjoy a glorious classical concert and a complimentary drink.

Trip to Munich & Evening Performance at Bavarian State Opera

Following breakfast, you check out from your Salzburg hotel and have a transfer to the station where you catch a high-speed train to Munich. On your way to the scenic Bavarian capital, you pass the breathtaking Chiemsee lake and travel along the winding Mangfall River. Upon arrival, your personal driver takes you to your centrally located hotel for check-in. After that, you have some time to rest, have lunch, and start exploring the city on your own.

In the evening, we invite you to enjoy an outstanding show at the Bavarian State Opera, the winner of the "Opera House of the Year" award in 2014 (transfers are included).

Exploring Munich & Bavarian State Opera Tour

After breakfast, you meet your private guide and go on a fascinating 3-hour tour of Munich's beautiful old town to get an insight into the city's turbulent 850-year history.

With its exuberant atmosphere and vitality, Munich is one of Europe's great cultural centers. Enjoy your city tour around Marien Square, Church of Our Lady and Residenz Palace. In the ancient part of the town the world-famous Hofbrauhaus, the medieval town gates, and the colorful open-air market Viktualienmarkt are waiting for you. Munich’s elegant Maximilian Street offers views at the Bavarian Parliament, Deutsches Museum, Royal Palace and, your next destination, the grand Opera House. 

After a lunch break, you set off on a private guided tour of Bavarian State Opera (or Bayerische Staatsoper), housed in a historic opera house that is also a home of Bavarian State Orchestra and the Bavarian State Ballet.

During a 1-hour tour you learn many fascinating facts about the various theatre programs, hear very interesting stories about the architecture of the building, and find out who influenced the opera house during the last 350 years. Plus, your route covers the Ionic Hall, the Royal Hall, and the magical auditorium.
