Explore the Famous Red Square

Wander the vast Red Square and explore numerous famous monuments surrounding it. Located in the heart of the city, it is the largest square in Russia, housing the Kremlin, the State History Museum, and the picture-perfect St. Basil's Cathedral. Currently open as a museum, the cathedral is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the main landmarks of the city.

After exploring the sites, shop at one of the most extensive shopping centers in Moscow, the GUM department store. Dominating the renowned Red Square, the grand building is worth exploring even without the intentions of purchasing anything. However, buying ice cream is an exception, as it is actually one of the trademarks of the store!

Bear in mind that local currency might come in handy while in the department store.
