There are so many amazing things waiting inside this museum, for example, there is a five-screen panoramic cinema, an "Arctic Walkway" area of flora and fauna in Svalbard shot mostly from a helicopter, as well as displays of polar exploration equipment, stuffed animals and simulated permafrost and other. You can also see in the cinema is a beautiful film about the Northern Lights in Norway.

The building itself is also worthy of note. Its design is unique which represents ice floes pressed up on land from the brutal rough seas of the Arctic. The Polstjerna, one of Norway's most famous and successful seal hunting ships can be found less than a hundred meters away from Polaria. Tickets to the ship museum are available at this location as well for those looking to visit it in person.
