Visit the Denali National Park & Preserve

Denali National Park has naturally over time gathered within its boundaries every aspect of Alaska and is proud to have its doors open for all who are interested in deepening their knowledge on Alaskan lifestyle, nature and culture.

Most notably, the Denali Mountain, which is situated at the center of the 6 million-acre land that belongs to the park, is the highest mountain peak in North America, with a summit elevation of 20,310 feet above sea level. What makes it even more so extravagant and desired by many climbers is that it is the third most prominent and third most isolated peak on our planet, after Mount Everest and Aconcagua.

However, this peak is far from being the only notable thing you can find at the park. While traveling along the footwalks, you will be surrounded by a view overlooking the lowly-elevated taiga forest, which gives way to high alpine tundra and snowy mountain ranges above. The crossover between the taiga and tundra forests is truly a sight to behold, as there is nothing else quite like it on Earth.

As for the wildlife, it roams freely within the un-fenced boundaries of the park, as they have for ages. The Denali National Park & Preserve makes sure that the fragile yet developed ecosystem of Alaska remains for future generations to admire and study from afar. The majority of the variance of flora and fauna that is found in Alaska can be seen living their undisturbed lives at the park, such as grizzly bears, albatrosses, moose, caribou, wolves, fox, and Dall's sheep if you pay close attention to what roams behind the dense forests.

If you are a photographer, a scientist, or simply a person who can enjoy witnessing natural beauty in its raw form, then going to Denali will be a holiday that will leave only the most pleasant memories and impressions behind that last a lifetime
