Tour of the Catherine's Palace

Visit the town of Pushkin (Tsarskoe Selo) housing the iconic Catherine's Palace. The palace was named after the wife of Peter the Great and eventually became the summer residence of their daughter, Empress Elizabeth. The imposing building was reconstructed and redecorated under her control and became the exceptional piece of architecture people come to admire to this day.

Marvelous on the outside, Catherine's Palace also features drow-dropping interiors, including those of the famous Amber Room. During the tour, you'll have the possibility to gaze at the intricate decor and get acquainted with the history behind it. In addition to that, you'll also stroll around the lavish parks and gardens on site.

The tour involves a lot of walking and awe-inspiring images, thus comfortable footwear and a fully charged camera are advisable. However, bear in mind that it is not allowed to take pictures in the Amber Room.
