Is a river cruise right for me? +
If you'd rather unpack once and wake up in a new city each morning than manage transfers between hotels, yes. MS Vistario suits travellers who want comfort, a slower pace, and cities reached on foot rather than by coach.
How is this different from an ocean cruise? +
Smaller ship, smaller crowd — 192 guests instead of thousands. No sea swell. And you dock in the centre of Cologne, Strasbourg, or Amsterdam, rather than a port miles from town.
When is the best time of year to sail the Rhine? +
Spring (Apr–Jun) brings blooming vineyards and mild days; autumn (Sep–Oct) brings harvest colour along the Moselle; late November and December bring the Christmas markets MS Vistario is known for.
