Portugal is such a beautiful place with even more beautiful and welcoming people who are eager to share their amazing food, incredible wine and rich history!!!! We have taken multiple private tour trips through Firebird and they nail it each & every time. Every transfer and tour is provided by a professional who is personable and knowledgable driving a clean, executive class car or van. Every hotel is perfectly placed that provides outstanding accommodations and service. Firebird asked us what we like to do, then took it from there by setting up outstanding private tours and exclusive experiences that we will never forget...And I 100% recommend private over group tours, and that option is really not that much more expensive - but still worth every penny.

My wife and I tasked Firebird with providing ALL of the logistics for a month-long sightseeing visit to Japan. We provided Firebird with a spreadsheet of places (approximately 44 places) we wanted to visit and asked Firebird to price-out the trip to include all in-country travel (train, subway, and hotel/train pick-up and drop-off) hotels, guides, and entrance fees/tickets. The places and events ranged from temples; shrines; natural wonders; gardens; and castles to sumo wrestling; an evening with just us, two geishas, and an interpreter; and an evening of kabuki performances. It was to be a customized trip for the two of us. In short, Firebird delivered. Mariana and her colleagues exceeded all expectations. Not once during the entire trip did Firebird disappoint. Typically, our guide for the day would meet us in our hotel's lobby at 9:00 am and return us to the hotel between 5:00-6:00 pm. The guide knew the day's itinerary, had the needed train/subway/entrance tickets, and we were off! In one instance, we initiated (via email) a last-minute change to the next day's itinerary. Within hours, Firebird had made all the necessary coordination (including fees/tickets, etc.) and everything was in place when our guide met us in the hotel lobby the next morning - just superb! It was an incredible trip and it was made possible by the incredible Firebird staff!

Booked a 25th anniversary trip to Southern Italy through Firebird. I am a return customer as everything this tour company plans is first class & executed flawlessly. Worked with Olia again to tailor our itinerary and our trip was fantastic! Had a hiccup due to a flight cancellation & Firebird took care of rearranging transportation & Rome tour for us. Accommodations are always in excellent hotels with breakfasts included. Tour guides are prompt, knowledgeable & fluent English speakers. Great communication with staff at Firebird to insure trip went smoothly ( Thx, Lesley). Hope to book again with this company in future!

We did not have any prior experience in either of these areas so depended upon Firebird to make recommendations on where to stay (hotels and cities) and where to visit. We couldn't have been more pleased with the detailed plans that were put into place. While on vacation, all of the drivers, guides, etc. showed up as scheduled. We had private tour guides that made the experiences that much more personal! The few times we needed to make adjustments to our schedule, or had questions, we were able to easily get answers via the handy app. Make sure Firebird understands what types of hotels/experiences you are looking for, and then trust them to do it right! We will be using Firebird again.

New Zealand was our second trip arranged by Firebird Tours. They did a great job of customizing to what my wife and I wanted. They arranged all transfers, tours, and hotels for our visit. The tours, other than group hikes, were private for just my wife and I. The drivers were there on-time for every transfer or tour, making it feel like a breeze. The hotels were great - very comfortable. Our previous trip with Firebird was the "Capitals and Fjords" in Scandinavia - also fantastic. On both trips we ran into problems which were not Firebird's fault. Yet, their 24-hour help line quickly ironed both out as much as possible. We will use Firebird again.

We had an absolutely incredible experience with Firebird for our Norway trip. From initial inquiry to the day of travel they kept us updated on what we needed to know and took all of our interests to heart while planning.
In country, the planning made it so easy to get from location to location and to do all we wanted to do.
Our guides were all insanely knowledgeable and more than happy to indulge me in my love of history and answer my nonstop questions.
Overall, we couldn't be more pleased and are already talking about our next trip!

Our trip to Portugal and Spain was magical. Firebird Tours crafted a custom itinerary for our anniversary, including a private Fado night in Lisbon and flamenco show in Seville.
💃 Every hotel felt handpicked for charm and comfort. We especially loved our driver in Andalusia, he even surprised us with a detour to a local vineyard. Highly recommend for couples looking for something tailored and meaningful.

We traveled to Scandinavia and Europe for 7 weeks and I would highly recommend Firebird for planning and booking all travel requirements. All the hotels, transfers, tours and service were excellent and the app is great for keeping track of plans ahead. The support provided during our trip was first class, my husband left his phone in a driver's car and thanks to the quick response from Firebird, the phone was returned within an hour. Other enquiries were all answered in a timely manner.

Once again, Sim and the Firebird team made our vacation amazingly memorable. This was our 2nd vacation using their services. The first time to Japan and this time around to Paris & Bayeux.
I can’t say enough of how perfect everything went from visiting top tourist spots, to our hotels, our transfers, and customer service during our trip (Thank you Helen!).
