Essence of Morocco in January
Very well planned, and with one exception well executed. Our driver, Azize, was professional, personable, informative, and a good driver. He is a valuable asset to Thunderbird Tours and should be congratulated for his excellent performance. All of the guides were great and extremely well versed on their regions and cities. All of the accommodations were definitely four-star and well prepared for us.
Great Scandinavia Adventure
We had an amazing trip planner and coordinator, Eugene Bachilo. He was very accommodating and managed our ‘two weeks - 5 Scandinavia country’ itinerary based on our tight work schedules and checked each of our Scandinavia bucket lists. During the trip, we felt that he was with us every step of the way! He was always available throughout our first tour process. Highly recommend and very professional, it was one of our top best vacation experiences! Planning to book more trips with family and friends through Firebird!
Firebird Tours was very responsive and supportive to all the questions
Excellent tour. So much to see and do during the tour. The people we were with were friendly and engaging. Excellent tour guides. Very knowledgeable and courteous. Excellent train transportation between cities, other transportation from airport to hotels, hotels to train station. The downside was the hotels in Venice, Florence, Rome, and Naples. Rooms were small, no air conditioning as the tour was before May 15. The hotel in Rome had poor lighting in the bathroom. There was a stairwell in the room that had a sharp edge directly over the desk area.
Overall the trip was great
Overall the trip was great. Hotel in Edinburgh was in an excellent location in between old and new town and across the street from the train station. The tours were awesome and allowed us to make the most of our time. The only disappointments was the train ride and the lack of transfer to the bus station in Inverness. We paid for first class tickets and we’re unable to sit in first class seats on the way back from Inverness and request a refund in the difference in the price which I was told was over $40 each.
Excellent, it was a great day in Pompei
Drivers were always prompt and helpful. Everything was well planned out. The customer support team answered all questions I had before the trip. They helped us during the trip out several times. We only had a problem with messages by email, and not having consistent access to email. Texts would have been better. The Pompei tour was awesome. So much better than I thought it would be. The city tour of Naples was great with all the food and the museum tour. And the town center of Naples was so much fun, hotel was right in the middle of it. Excellent facilities at Hotel Dei Millini.
Everything went as planned
Everything went as planned. The customer support team was very responsive to all questions. I left emails, I was traveling alone and nervous about pick up times. They were quick to respond. So many beautiful sites to see. I loved my personal walking tour through Edinburgh. Very fun, informational and a great use of time. All transfers were good but 1 in Glasgow after the train. I waited and walked around looking, the hotel was pretty close so I got directions and walked. All others were perfect. Tom guide was great, perfect flow of the tour, so many great stories. Highly recommend.
It was fantastic
It was fantastic. Alexandra was VERY helpful and got my extra rooms and transfers. I really didn't use the customer support help but others did and had no issues. I'm sure you would have helped me! That hotel was REALLY nice. The staff was great and the room was wonderful. The wait staff in the restaurant was a little off, but it was because they had only recently reopened and they were MORE than nice.
The drivers you hired were fabulous
The drivers you hired were fabulous. They were all knowledgable, accommodating and kind. The customer support team was extremely responsive returned emails in a timely fashion. The entire trip...a trip of a life time. The hotels were great I would stay there again. Breakfast was delicious.
Everything was well planned out
Both trips we went on "Cultural Capitals and Amalfi, and Treasures of Prague" were great. Everything was well planned out, drivers were on time, no issues. It went perfectly. We had a slight hiccup on the last day, our driver did not take us to the Covid testing facility before dropping us off at the Airport. But customer support stepped in, immediately found another location at the airport and made a quick reservation. Crisis averted and many thanks to the support team! The team was excellent. Campagna cooking class was perhaps the best overall highlight.
Everything was very well planned
Everything was very well planned. Thank you for your continued adjustments based upon our having to twice postpone due to COVID. The only major mistake I can think of was the fact that our room was supposed to be waiting for us upon our arrival in Paris so that we could rest in the morning and then have energy for seeing the Musee D'Ossay in the afternoon. Since we did not have a room we were unable to re-energize in time to get to the museum. The hotel in Paris was lovely and the staff extremely friendly. In Bayeux, Le Clos de Croix was a wonderful, fun, and inviting place to stay.
