Cross the Pont Alexandre III

Traverse the River Seine on the most marvelous bridge in Paris, Pont Alexandre III. Dating back to 1900, the intricately decorated landmark connects some of the most renowned sites in the city, including Les Invalides on the left bank and Champs-Elysees on the right. In addition to its ornate constructions, the Pont Alexandre III bridge boasts numerous statues, making it one of the most beautiful monuments in the city.

While on the guided tour, don't miss the chance to marvel at four massive pillars nearby. Built as counterweights for stabilization, the 17-meter-high (56 ft) columns beautifully blend with the Art Nouveau style of the bridge and are topped with magnificent gilded statues. The four monuments represent the spheres of art, science, industry, and commerce.
