Commemorate the Events of the D-Day

Visit the emotionally charged locations of the events that took place on June 6, 1944, in France. Better known as the D-Day invasion, it represents the invasion of the Allied troops in pursuit of liberating Western Europe from Nazi Germany’s control. During the journey, you'll visit the places of D-Day landings, such as the D-Day beaches (Omaha and Utah), as well as the Church of Saint Mere and Pointe du Hoc.

Nowadays, numerous landmarks and monuments in the area honor the sacrifice of people involved. Utah Beach houses the D-Day Museum of the Landings while wandering the Omaha Beach you'll find the Les Braves Monument, an important D-Day memorial. In addition to that, you can also visit the scene of the invasion, situated on the cliffs of Pointe du Hoc, to witness what the troops had to face during the dreadful events.

It is important to bear in mind that the sites are war graves, thus, visitors are expected to behave and dress respectfully.
