The trip was well organized and all connections were right on time. Almost all of the people from Firebird Tours we encountered were kind, cooperative, helpful and welcoming. Our guide in Rome was absolutely wonderful. Anna was very knowledgeable and very animated, but most of all she was open to questions and willing to adapt to our family needs. The hotel was great. Very convenient to our travels and clean. The staff was very helpful and spoke in English for those in our group who do not know Italian. The guides for the transfers were excellent. They helped carry luggage, which we did not expect, and they were patient with our group when one person was very late. The hotel in Florence was lovely. The Staff were welcoming and very helpful. The unique rooms were charming, and the glass floor to get to our rooms was fun. The breakfast was full of options. There was a smell in the hotel that I think the staff could not control, and the views from the hotel were limited, but the location was close to everything we wanted to see. The guides and drivers were very kind and helpful. The transfers went well. Hotel del Mellini was a great location, and our rooms were very nice. The temperature in the rooms were very warm. The location of the hotel made it easy to walk to many places. Breakfast was good. The drivers picked us up on time, but we had a little trouble finding them. They were so nice and helpful, Antonio was a great driver, especially since driving in Rome is a challenge. The Royal Continental Hotel was in a great location and we had such a beautiful view of the bay of Napoli. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The walls and ceilings seem to be paper thin and we could hear everything in adjoining rooms and from the street.
