The trip was very enjoyable and we had a good time. The weather didn’t really warm up until the end but it didn’t prevent us from doing what we wanted or make the day trips less enjoyable. Below is a brief summary of some of our observations from the trip that you might find helpful: 1. All drivers to and from the airport were prompt and did a good job. Amsterdam 2. The Golden Tulip hotel stay was nice but one needs to take a 15 minute tram ride to get to the inner city. We bought a 3-day pass on the tram since it proved helpful in getting around to the various museums so the hotel location wasn’t a real issue. We had one small problem with hotel registration but it was sorted out after 20 minutes. 3. The City Tour guide did a good job. It was not a walking tour but rather a driving tour. He took us outside of downtown as well to a local village. 4. The Zaanse Schans Windmill, Marden, Volendam day trip was worthwhile but a bit rushed. Copenhagen 5. The Square hotel was in a good location for walking in the old town however we found the hotel and buffet to be not as good as the other hotels on this trip. 6. The City Tour guide did an excellent job in a walking tour of the city. He spent well over the allotted time to show us around and discuss life in Denmark. 7. The canal boat ride was good. 8. The Castle’s Day trip was excellent (however due to construction in the City hall square, it was difficult to find where we catch our bus - we almost missed it). Odense 9. The Radisson Blu hotel was nice, buffet breakfast was excellent and the location good for walking around the city. 10. The City Tour guide gave a good walking tour of the old part of the city. The tour included the entrance fee to the Hans Christian Andersen museum. Aarhus 11. The Scandic hotel location and buffet breakfast were excellent. 12. The City Tour guide gave a good walking tour. Stockholm 13. The Radisson Blu hotel location and buffet breakfast were excellent. Being placed in a Business travel room gave us a beautiful view of the old town . 14. The City tour guide did a good walking tour of the old town. We had to pay to go in the City Hall. 15. The Mariefred and Gripsholm castle boat day trip was OK. 16. We enjoyed the Birka day trip. 17. We paid to see the Vasa museum (excellent museum) but did not visit the Skansen open-air museum. So overall, things went well and we had a good time. Thanks for your efforts in putting this tour package together.
