Everything went like clockwork!

We're home, still buzzing about our trip of a lifetime. Craig and I don’t like crowds of people, so going at this time of year and doing a private tour was perfect. The organization by Firebird was unparalleled, everything went like clockwork. All of our transfers were waiting for us at every pickup point which took the worry out of arriving and departing each destination. The guides were fabulous and showed us great parts of the cities and towns we would never have thought of. The tree-hotel was a stand out for me, so unique and beautiful. We loved the Admiral hotel in Copenhagen, the Bergen Bors in Bergen and, of course, the Ice Hotel. The Fretheim in Flam was gorgeous and like stepping back in time a little, loved it. We got to see the Northern lights at Abisko, the walking at night with a guide was fantastic, very special. We did a lot in a short period of time, wish we had longer. It’s something we’ll never forget I can understand they’re probably chosen due to their proximity to Central train stations, but with transfers being that close to the train isn’t an issue. We had the time of our lives and will be looking to plan another holiday with Firebird next year sometime hopefully. I’ve been telling everyone how outstanding Firebird is. Thanks a lot!
