Overall I think this was an excellent package and would recommend it to ANYONE - Iberian Capitals, June 2017

The greatest thing about this private trip to Spain was the choice of guides. There are all very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. My husband actually referred to it as "renting a good friend for the day". The guides in Barcelona and Madrid actually gave us their personal numbers in case we had any issues during our stay. Can't say enough about ALL of our guides. Top notch.

While the location of the hotels was nice, I think I would have probably paid a little extra for an upgrade if I had been given that option. All had excellent locations, were perfectly fine and had great service - I just may have liked to have had some type of balcony or maybe a slightly larger room (specifically in Madrid).

Also, during summer months, may be a good idea to try and get the walking tour in Madrid during a morning. I do understand based on the timetable that the afternoon made the most sense with this particular itinerary; however, it was very hot by the time we arrived and began the walking tour. Our guide did her best to keep us in the shade and make sure we had water at all times, but it may have been a little more enjoyable in the morning before it became so hot.

There was only one logistical problem in Barcelona, where our transfer to the railway didn't pick up so we had to take a cab on our own but that wasn't a big deal. The representative immediately apologized for the inconvenience and offered to reimburse us with no issues.

Overall I think this was an excellent package and would recommend it to ANYONE. If we plan to visit any of the other areas where you provide services I will certainly enlist your services again. When I rate you on trip adviser you will definitely get 5 stars.

Finally, I must reiterate that I can't say enough about the guides that we had - in Barcelona, Madrid, Toledo and Lisbon. They made our trip interesting and worthwhile! It was obvious that each person had not only knowledge but also pride in their city and enjoyed sharing the history and culture of each one with us.

p.s. Being so busy raving about the trip, I almost forgot the mention the planning portion...my contact travel specialist from Firebird Tours was a joy to work with. He stayed in constant communication with me and when I had concerns and never left a question unanswered.
