Everything went perfectly during our recent trip to Norway. The hotels were comfortable, breakfasts and hotel restaurants great, and the tour guides fantastic. The trip to the glacier was a 9 hour affair with a wonderful drive around fjords and a real chance to see the countryside. My wife and I dressed as if we would encounter freezing temperatures but when the guide showed up in a single shirt we realized we had over prepared :) . The heavier clothes didn't go to waste however as the previous week it was quite cold while we were in Sweden for my wife's work. The Bergen walking tour was quite informative and after the tour we had further time to dine and shop. A bit of rain on and off, but that's Bergen. Transportation on the ferries was great fun. Beautiful views and a relaxing way to travel. The only hitch during the week was the train from Oslo, which ran nearly 40 minutes late. We were afraid we'd miss the Flam train, but it seems the Flam train waited a few minutes and many travelers made the transfer. One option that you may want to add to your offerings is Fjord Safari in Flam. This was a Zodiac boat tour of the fjord and provided a much closer and intimate view of the coastline than the ferries. Was a really nice experience. Viking Cruises offer this as an excursion. So thanks for you help in organizing our trip. We enjoyed ourselves immensely.
