Dom and I had a wonderful trip! - Cinque Terre Delight, June 2017

Dom and I had a wonderful 10-day trip to Italy! Our guide could not have been better. She was in fact wonderful! Our hotel though was less than hoped for. Our actual room was fine. The staff was friendly and helpful, though they were only on the premises from 2 PM or 6 PM. The 'hotel' was not really a hotel. It was a city building. On one of the floors someone remodeled the flat into 6 private rooms. No lobby. No one to ask questions of other than the maid if it was not between 2 to 6 PM! Breakfast was at a bar three streets away. The coffee was good. There were crescents...not great! Because Dom and I are actually 'travelers' and not typical tourist we managed fine. Others may not. The location of the room was perfect, between two pedestrian walk streets with lovely shops and restaurants. A real hotel would have been much nicer however.
