Extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and professional

Our guides in Venice, Florence, and Pompeii were extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. Their English language skills were excellent. Our guide in Rome was also knowledgeable and friendly, but he was sometimes difficult to understand. Most of the drivers were excellent. They arrived early and were most gracious and helpful. The exception was the driver in Sorrento, who was 15 minutes late and did not offer an apology. Sorrento traffic is horrendous, so the drivers should allow extra time. He was taking us to the airport, so the delay added some anxiety to the trip, but the Firebird customer service representative was very responsive and assured us that the driver was on the way when we called to inquire. We ended up getting to the airport in plenty of time for the flight. The hotels, tours, and logistics were excellent. The special accommodations for a wheelchair were terrific.
