This trip will always be a once in a lifetime highlight for us

Overall, outstanding Epic Fjords and Seas of Norway trip! Some comments--- Clarion Collection Hotel Folketeateret room towards end of trip much nicer than room beginning of trip Breakfast bar excellent. Supper bars not always done well ie. pizza raw. Staff overall very helpful.Thought city map Oslo would have been readily available; got best one in Flam.Drivers & tour guides helpful in Oslo. Enjoyed train ride to Flam. Flamsbrygga Hotel/Flam wonderfully peaceful and restaurant next door delicious! Hyddrofoil ride on fjord between Flam & Bergen gave us a good taste of fjords. Bergen really needs minimum of 2 days rather than just one. Tour guide wealth of information. Hurtigruten cruise on MS Nordlys amazing. Atmosphere that folks on ship provided was warm, welcoming, and they seemed to genuinely like working together. Best Norwegian map available on the ship. Cabin wonderful & clean; slept well being rocked to sleep! We are not wine drinkers so was surprised to have wine package. We used the bottles for gratuities.Buffets & supper meals quite satisfying. Geiranger and Trollistigen sight seeing by bus, ferries, strawberries,walking, & souvenir shopping made for a very full day! Beautiful! Trondheim - would be more satisfying to spend more time at the NIdaros Cathedral; Ringve Museum disappointing Svartisen Glacier was a fun walk & to see the countryside. The boat ride added seagulls & sea eagles and a family having a day at the beach within the arctic circle! The Lofotr Viking Feast Summer/Loften Islands was outstanding! The history & food were plentiful and much gorgeous countryside! Tromso disappointing. The tour guide more like a gradeschool teacher on a field trip. The church is beautiful. Glad submarine bunkers pointed out to us. The North Cape excursion exciting...we could have spent a couple more hours just to get to see all the monuments, museum, etc. Riverboat to the Russian Border very memorable...the crew very jovial and helpful. Fourtunately, we had looked ahead...our itinerary called for us to wait at the port in Kirkenes (no shelter) for several hours before going to the airport. Luckily, a crew member assisted us with alternate arrangements. It was wet & rainy that day. Tour guides & drivers throughout trip always on time; punctuality a reflection of their desire to provide customer service. This trip will always be a once in a lifetime highlight for us. The scenery, the environment, and culture was a refreshing experience! Thank you
