This was the most amazing trip I could have hoped for in Italy. My travelling partners, whom I did not know before the trip, made it that much more special. The group came together like we had known each other for years. Firebird was responsive to any issues we had and they were resolved promptly. There was an issue with our train transfer from Rome to Naples due to a freight train accident. Our Firebird representative immediately arranged for a transport van to pick us up and get us to Naples. In fact, the ride was very enjoyable as we were able to see more of the countryside. Our tour guides were amazing (except for one, Lida, who treated us like 6th graders on a field trip). She knew her subjects but there was a clear personality clash with the group. Unfortunately, we had her for three consecutive days in Rome. Our other tour guides were extremely knowledgeable, polite, friendly and just all around awesome. The small group tour was the right choice for me. I would highly recommend Firebird to friends and use them again in the future. Thanks Firebird for an awesome vacation in Italy.
