• Fantastic Irish Experience

  Our group of 12 needed an Ireland tour to fit our dates and our itinerary. WOW did Firebird deliver! Everything went so smoothly. Fantastic guides, drivers, accommodations, and activities. They responded to every request and question.

  An amazing tour of Ireland with the help of Firebird Tours. Did the "Definitive Ireland" Tour staying in Kilkenny, Cork, Killarney, and Galway. Transportation was consistently comfortable in vans with room for the four of us and luggage. The local Drivers/Tour Guides were fantastic, not only navigating the narrow roads (much more relaxing than trying to navigate the lefthand driving), they showed us sites we would not have seen if we were on our own. While all the guides were great, we were especially lucky to have Paddy for two days on the Wild Atlantic Way. Firebird did a great job in prioritizing our interests as well as accommodated a slight same-day timing change via the app. Without reservation, we would highly recommend Firebird.

• Wonderful exploration of Ireland and the Wild Atlantic Way

  We loved our Firebird Tour of Ireland. Addison was very easy to work with planning the trip and everything ran smoothly. Our hotels were in great locations, our guides were very knowledgeable, and if we had a question we received a quick response from the Firebird team. If I had to do it again, I would add a few more days. There is so much to see and it’s nice to just slow down and enjoy the towns and their people.

  All of our guides were great! We really appreciated their knowledge of local history and culture. One of the things I was most interested in prior to our trip was more insight into The Troubles. The driver who took us back to the airport from Donnegal was from Northern Ireland and he gave us some personal history that was fascinating (and sad). I’m so glad we’re met him!

• The trip flowed smoothly, with drivers and guides there when expected. The hotels were well located (walkable areas), clean, and comfortable. The guides were OUTSTANDING! Then, we lucked into some great weather in Ireland, which is not known for great weather.

  All of the excursions were great, excellent guides throughout who added detail and personal perspectives which was a plus. The transfers were seamless from city to city. The only negative was our stay at the Moxy in Belfast. High winds made all the windows whistle and leak air so it was tough to rest. One room had a bad mattress and some lighting problems we fixed. Otherwise, all the hotels were perfectly situated in the city centers which made walking about easy.

  The countryside was beautiful in both countries. Overall it was an experience we enjoyed. I do like the smaller tour groups (not over 14 people) offered by Firebirds. This tour is not for individuals who have difficulties walking a lot or on hilly terrain. Read the itinerary. If you are wanting to explore castles, this is not the tour for you. You see several but only go inside one unless you schedule optional tours.
