• Definitive Switzerland Tour with Firebird was wonderful.

  We loved our Firebird private tour The Definitive Switzerland. We used the Firebird tour outline and added extra days in St. Moritz and Montreux. We were interested in this tour because it featured a ride on the famous Glacier Express and visits into the Alps to view the Matterhorn and the north face of the Eiger. This was our second Firebird Tour. The Firebird Tour was exactly what we wanted and needed. We could not have accomplished so much without their help and guidance. This is even though we have arranged complicated and extensive trips on our own. We relied on their knowledge of and insights into each of the cities for all of our arrangements, including scheduling and arranging the train transportation between the cities. The schedule including the times was perfect. The hotels were centrally located and the connections were easy to make. Their itinerary suggestion that we take two day trips, one to Geneva and one to Lucerne, was perfect despite our initial concern that this might be too much to handle. We were particularly pleased that they arranged for guides who spent 3 – 4 hours with us in each major city. The guides were not only knowledgeable about the various attractions and sights but also the history of the country, the cities and regions, economics and world affairs. At the same time, they were friendly and engaging and accommodated our personal preferences. This is something we have come to enjoy and look forward to. The Firebird personnel were easy to work with when we were making our initial plans as well as when we were on the road. They were patient and thorough in responding to all of our detailed questions. The Firebird APP is fantastic and was our constant companion. It is easy to use. The Firebird responses to inquiries we made while we were on the road via email and phone calls were prompt and thorough. It was so nice to have them with us every step of the way….during the planning and while we were traveling.

• Private Tour of Northern Italy and Switzerland

  Firebird worked closely with me to put together the perfect private tour for myself and my husband. Loved all the activities, transports and hotels. Great local guides and drivers. All first class! And great to avoid lines and be VIP treated! Firebird was on top of every detail before and during our tour. Our second time working with Firebird and will be a customer again!!

• Unforgettable trip full of breathtaking scenery

  I enjoyed this trip every step of the way. The support from planning all the way through to our last hotel stop added a lot of comfort to the trip. Tour guides were all very friendly and informative. We especially liked Bruno in Interlaken and Katy in Venice. We loved how the guides flexed for us if we wanted to stop for a chance to explore or for them to show us a new area. The wine and prosecco tours were very nice touches. All transfers and drivers were very good even in very narrow mountain exchanges where the routes were very challenging and scary. We also loved the variety of transportation. Planes, trains, boats, cogwheel, gondola, funiculars and vans all really allowed us to truly experience the area. Finally lived the locations we selected with the amount of time at each spot with only three hotels in 12 days we felt like we were able to see and experience so much.

  My wife and I wanted to tour Switzerland but also do it by train. Firebird Tours fit the bill. Also to note, we originally planned to do this tour in 2025 but had to reschedule. That said, Firebird was able to use the majority of our 2025 payment for 2026. The trip overall was flawless. We worked mostly with Anna to lay the trip out, then Alexandra after that. We had no issues with train tickets, hotels, and only one minor issue with a transfer. The tours we took were of high quality with enthusiastic guides. What we really liked is that they were older guides (not twenty-something looking to make a buck) more interested in sharing their knowledge. The hotels were easy walking distance to hotels. When necessary, transfers were on time and professional. On a couple occasions we had to contact them via the app and they were almost immediate in responding and the issue was resolved (thank you Sia). If you want a Switzerland tour via train, we would highly recommend Firebird Tours.

  We traveled to Norway and Finland in 2019 (even though it states 2020 below) with Firebird tours. It was a small group tour but it was ultimately a 2 person tour! The service from each and every guide was fantastic. They were always on time to meet us either at the airport or hotel for a tour. The lodgings were unique, clean and we never had a complaint. Each local guide was unique, informative and friendly. Don't hesitate.. Firebird customer service was great from payments to questions and assistance in any way. We'd definitely travel with them again and are looking forward to Switzerland and Northern Italy when travel is open again.

  I worked with Inga at Firebord Tours for nine months planning a detailed private trip to Switzerland complete with transfers, hotels, guides and trains for late April 2020. Then COVID-19 happened. We were not able to go on our trip because of the virus. Inga was very helpful in letting us know what the cancelation policy was. We had just paid the full amount due the end of Feb. They offered us a 70% refund and a voucher for the other 30% that would be good for a couple of years. This offer was very good but we needed a full refund because we did not know when we would be able to make it back to Europe. I sent an e-mail to Mr. Ivan Shirokov the CCO asking for a full refund. He sent me an e-mail the next day offering us a full refund. He included his direct line in case we had further questions and instructed the finance dept. to process the refund right away. We received a check within ten days with the full amount. I would work with Firebird Tours again in a heartbeat. Inga was very good at getting back to me and willing to answer all my questions. She put together a great tour. I hope we will be able to go someday.

  We did a 10 day Amazing Switzerland tour and 5 days Amsterdam tour! Every bus transfer, road trips and hotel accommodations were great! Our driver Vito and our Switzerland guide was so good, we are sad to part with them.Our hotels were all good, breakfast was great and facilities were excellent. If there is such a thing as +5 then thats the rating I would give! Looking forward to another trip😝👍

  Firebird tours put together one of our few bucket list trips, Switzerland by train. With the exception of a hiccup at the start, the trip was flawless and exceeded our expectations. FYI - This was a trip that we had to cancel in 2025 for necessary reasons. Firebird was able honor our trip in 2026 minus some expenditures they were not able to recover.
