Why Visit the ABBA Museum
ABBA - the world-famous Swedish music group, a real legend has been honored with a whole museum in the Swedish Music Hall of Fame. It is modern, interactive and full of music. The group's music stirs memories of just about any generation, so for many visiting Stockholm the ABBA Museum is a must-see!
The museum exhibits a vast array of items belonging to Agnetha, Bjorn, Benny, and Anni-Frid. It is an entertaining experience so reminisce about ABBA's songs and their crazy clothing. You can find out pretty much everything you want to know about the group and see the band's stage clothes, artifacts, concert footage, interviews, etc. in a contemporary, interactive setting. If you did not go in singing Abba, you certainly will when you come out!
Apart from the many activities designed for guests of all ages you can also take pictures with life-size statues of the stars. Note that you must purchase a ticket online prior to arriving and it is date and time specific. When you buy a ticket you get an ID that generates a page on the museum website.
Once inside the museum you can do all kinds of crazy stuff - sing and dance with holograms of ABBA with a digital costume projected on to you in a special booth. All of this can be recorded by scanning your ticket. During 30 days after the visit, you can share photos and videos of your experience on social media. The ABBA museum motto is "Walk in. Dance out".
