Why Visit Sighnaghi, Georgia
Signaghi is a mysterious historical town walled with the remnants of 18th-century fortifications. Even though it is one of the country’s smallest towns, the magnificent view of its landscapes and historical monuments is an unforgettable experience.
Sighnaghi - city of love
This ‘love city’ was under a fundamental reconstruction program recently and has become an important center of Georgia's tourist industry. Production of wine, traditional carpets, and Georgian traditional food Mcvadi are all highlights of Signaghi, which is also renowned for its gorgeous landscapes and historical monuments.
Things to Do in Signaghi
There are two must-sees located in this town, Signaghi’s well-known Georgian Orthodox churches: one in honor of St. George and another dedicated to St. Stephen.
Apart from that, located a mere 2 kilometers away among tall Cypress trees on a steep hillside stands the worshiped Bodbe Monastery built in the 9th century.
