Tips for City Breaks Travel

  • In many cities during Fall and winter climate is unpredictable and the weather can be quite harsh. Bringing a water-resistant jacket, umbrella, and some warm clothes is a must
  • Most of the tours you’re going to have are walking, so make sure to bring convenient walking shoes
  • In Italy and Spain you can expect to find some shops and restaurants closed from 1-4 p.m. as it is midday siesta. Most places will be also closed on Sundays
  • Most communication equipment takes 220/110 volts, you will need an adapter plug (type E) to make your plug fit into the socket
  • To avoid currency exchange fees, we suggest exchanging currency in your personal bank prior to the trip. Also, many banks and businesses do not accept foreign cards
  • Many attractions in Israel and the UAE are religious, therefore, it is necessary to be dressed suitably when exploring such sights as to not be disrespectful. Modest clothing (no shorts or sleeveless shirts) and head covering are required for visiting holy sites
