Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary and Brisbane River Cruise

Embark on Brisbane’s iconic Koala and River Cruise, a beloved journey that’s been connecting locals and visitors to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary for over 70 years! 

This relaxing river cruise departs from a central location, taking you from the city’s lively skyline to the serene waterside suburbs only accessible by boat. Enjoy an engaging commentary as you pass by waterfront mansions and lush, green landscapes. On board, treat yourself to homemade morning tea, lunch, and snacks. 

Once at Lone Pine, spend three unforgettable hours exploring the sanctuary. Get up close to over 130 koalas, hand-feed kangaroos and emus, watch an Australian sheep dog show, glimpse a platypus, and witness birds of prey in action.

Snorkel the Wrecks Cruise
Tangalooma Island Resort latest day trip offering includes a guided snorkel tour through the magical Tangalooma Shipwrecks of Moreton Island. The crystal clear waters that surround the wrecks are filled with over 200 species of fish and 130 species of coral, not to mention 3 different species of marine sea turtle, dolphins and even our resident Wobbegong sharks and stingrays. This guided tour begins at the Tangalooma beach front, with a short boat ride to the wrecks, with all snorkel gear provided.
