Following breakfast at your hotel, you will check out and be transferred to the train station, where you’ll embark on an unforgettable journey aboard The Ghan Train to Alice Springs on the Red Centre Explorer. This all-inclusive rail holiday, known as the Top End Discovery, offers a unique adventure as it travels between Adelaide and Alice Springs. 

Over 2 nights aboard The Ghan, you’ll experience breathtaking landscapes, exceptional service, and the timeless charm of train travel. Explore a myriad of sacred sites and join your Driver Guide on a walk to Mutitjulu Waterhole. Conclude your day at the Uluru sunset viewing area, known as 'Sunset Strip.' After breakfast at your hotel you will be picked up and transfered to the meeting point at the port. Embark on a memorable day trip to the Great Barrier Reef via a luxury catamaran. Snorkel, dive, swim, or simply soak up the sun, all while relishing a delicious buffet lunch and the company of marine experts. The crew will choose the best reef location for the day. Enjoy morning tea, engage with the knowledgeable crew, and learn about marine life on your way. Arrive at the first reef spot for water activities or relaxation. Indulge in a tropical buffet lunch onboard. Then head to the second reef location for more exploration. Spot corals, parrotfish, turtles, and 'nemo' fish. Finally, sail back to Cairns and you will be transfered back to your hotel.
