Embark on a journey exploring the highlights west of Lisbon. Begin with a hotel pick-up  and head to the iconic Belém Quarter, where you’ll see the Belém Tower, Monument of the Discoveries, and Jerónimos Monastery from the outside.

Enjoy a traditional Pastel de Belém at the famous local bakery (at your expense) before continuing to the dramatic cliffs of Cabo da Roca — the westernmost point of continental Europe.

Then, visit the charming coastal town of Cascais, where you'll have a bit of free time. On your return to Lisbon, stop for an interior visit to the elegant Ajuda Palace before being dropped off at your hotel.

The rest of the day is yours to enjoy—start exploring the charming streets of Porto’s historic center, savor local cuisine at a nearby restaurant, or simply unwind in the comfort of your hotel room.

Embark on a short walking tour of Porto, covering its must-see landmarks. Start at the Lello Bookshop, a stunning historic bookstore often considered one of the most beautiful in the world. Then, visit São Bento Railway Station, famous for its breathtaking blue and white azulejos (tiles) depicting Portuguese history. Continue to the Porto Cathedral, a striking Romanesque building with spectacular views of the city. Finally, explore the Church of São Francisco, known for its stunning baroque interior.

Along the way, you’ll also pass the Ribeira district, a picturesque area along the Douro River, and the Palácio da Bolsa, with its impressive architecture and history.

Following breakfast, you meet your guide-driver who take you on a full day tour to the breathtaking Douro Valley Wine Region - a famous UNESCO Heritage Site recognized as the best river destination of Europe. The tour starts in the historical city of Amarante. Afterwards, you make a stop in Regua - the center of the Port wine region. As a highlight of the tour you are taken to wine tasting at Quinta Do Seixo from Sandeman, renown for its amazing view from the top of the mountain to the vineyards. Here you are treated to a wine tasting and lunch. Your route then takes you along one of the most beautiful roads of Portugal to the small town of Pinhão, where you see beautiful blue tin-glazed ceramic tilework called Azulejos at the famous railway station. After the tour you are transferred to your hotel in Porto and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

The rest of the day is free so you can start exploring the city center of magnificent Funchal, the vibrant capital of Madeira, on your own, dine in one of the local restaurants or take a good rest in your comfortable room.

Optionally, you have a chance to join a group Levada Walk or have a private walk. This outdoor adventure activity is highly popular as the walking trails are located along the many picturesque mini-canals of the island. Easy, moderate and difficult walks are available.

The first place on your list is the lovely traditional fishing village called Camara de Lobos, with narrow streets and colorful fishing boats docked in the harbor. 

Next, you see Europe's highest cliff, the Cabo Girao, opening incredible views and offering wonderful photo opportunities.

After that, continue to Madeira's historical Ribeira Brava. You also get to see the picturesque Paul de Serra plateau as well as the villages of Porto Moniz, Seixal, and Sai Vicente.
