Upon arrival, your driver transfers you to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is at your own leisure. 

Bari Sightseeing

Following breakfast at your hotel, you meet your guide and enjoy a 3-hour private guided city tour of Bari.

Bari is a sparkling resort town with a lovely historic center. During the tour you stroll the maze-like Bari Vecchia - medieval heart of the city and see its major attractions including the 11th-century Basilica di San Nicola. You enjoy views of Piazza Mercantile, Piazza Ferrarese and enter the medieval Castello Svevo. You can also make a stop for a cold lemonade or iced coffee at one of the many sidewalk cafes.

After the tour you have free time to enjoy a lunch and then your driver takes you to Matera.

Matera City Tour
After breakfast in your hotel, you meet your private guide, who takes you on a comprehensive private sightseeing tour around Matera.

Together with your guide you visit the UNESCO-listed World Heritage ancient cave dwellings called Sassi di Matera. You wander the lanes alongside the picturesque cave-filled cliffs and learn the history of this fascinating place. During the tour you also explore the city's fascinating architecture, pay a visit to the Casa Grotta Museum that shows a traditional cave dwelling, and enjoy a stroll through its baroque area.

After the tour your return to your hotel and have the rest of the day at leisure.

Tour to Alberobello and Locorotondo
After breakfast in your hotel, you meet your private driver, who takes you  to the fascinating countryside towns Alberobello and Locorotondo. 

Alberobello is a charming city famous for its unique beehive-shaped houses which were built by peasants in the mid-14th century under the rule of the Earls of Conversano. Constructed out of limestone found in the soil or in caves, the whitewashed cone-shaped dwellings are now UNESCO-listed treasures.

Afterward, you will continue your journey to Locorotondo, another picturesque town known for its circular layout and whitewashed houses.  

Transfer to Lecce with Sightseeing on the way 
Following breakfast in your hotel, you check out and depart from Matera.

Welcome to Lecce - a city in Italy’s southern Apulia region. Upon arrival you have a check-in at the hotel and have the rest of the day at leisure. 

Lecce Tour and Pastry Tasting
Following breakfast, you meet with your private guide to explore Lecce on a walking city tour. 
Together you witness Santa Croce Curch, Castromediano Square, Sant’Oronzo Square. Immerse yourself in history as you explore the ancient Roman Amphitheater, and Roman Theatre. Finally arrive at the enchanting Duomo Square, where you will be captivated by its beauty and charm. 
After the city tour, taste the famous sweet pastry filled with custard, "pasticciotto leccese" in a local pastry shop. Do not miss the local coffee specialty "caffè leccese” either, which is espresso on the rock with almond syrup from the area.

Departure
Following breakfast and check-out, you depart from Lecce.
