Following breakfast, you meet your private guide and driver in the lobby to embark on a full-day private city tour around many-sided Seoul.

The first highlight on your today's list is a visit to the Gyeongbokgung Palace, the most significant and first royal palace of the Joseon dynasty built in 1395. Being a great example of traditional Korean architecture, the Gyeongbokgung Palace is the largest one of Five Grand Palaces in Seoul. The complex also features the National Folklore Museum which houses collections of historical artifacts that were used in the daily life of Korean people centuries ago. During the visit, travelers can find out more about the domestic and agricultural lifestyles, as well as the peculiarities of Korean culture.

Then you continue to the lively Insadong Antique Street that is deservingly called a center of traditional arts and crafts. Let yourself get lost among narrow alleyways full of folk crafts shops and electrical paintings. Afterward, you stop at Namdaemun Market, the biggest traditional market in the country where most of the goods are produced by the storeowners.

Then you head to the Namsangol Hanok Village, a village of traditional houses. The village is still cloaked with the atmosphere of ancient times and is a perfect place to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Five houses were reconstructed to follow the traditional style of the Joseon dynasty and represent the differences between the lifestyles of social classes, from peasants to aristocrats.

Crown your first sightseeing day by going up to Seoul's legendary landmark, the N Seoul Tower. This impressive construction was the first tower-type tourist attraction in Korea. To appreciate the breathtaking 360-degree views over the vibrant city, you visit the panoramic observation deck of the tower. After that, you are taken back to your hotel and have the evening at leisure.
