Following breakfast in the hotel, you meet your private guide and go on a 3-hour walking tour to discover the famous ancient treasures of the Eternal City. 

First, you make your way to Rome's hallmark site - the Colosseum. Originally known by the name of Flavius amphitheater, it was the biggest and most imposing building of its kind in the Roman world, designed as an arena for the fights of Roman gladiators and could hold up to 70 thousand spectators. You admire the Colosseum from the outside and have amazing photo opportunities at its ancient walls. 

Then you proceed with a walking city tour to see the most famous attractions and hidden treasures of the Eternal City. You see the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, the famous Fountain of the Four Rivers, as well as witness the masterpieces by Bernini, Borromini, and many others. 

After the tour, your guide takes you back to the hotel.

In the morning you have breakfast, check out from your hotel in Rome and your private driver transfers you to the station for catching a train to Naples. Upon arrival, you are transferred you to your centrally-located hotel.

In the hotel lobby, you meet with your private guide who takes you on a touring program around the best sights of charming Naples, one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. Its towering palaces, narrow streets, ancient churches and underground passages dating to different time periods are making Naples city center probably the most unchanged one in Europe.

Start your tour in the Monumental Area of the city and see Plebiscito Square, Galleria Umberto I, San Carlo Opera House and the Royal Palace of Naples (from outside). Then you proceed to the UNESCO-listed historic center of Naples, walk along Via San Gregorio Armeno, the crib-alley with the shops exclusively dedicated to the famous Neapolitan Crib, and see the churches of Gesù Nuovo and Santa Chiara. The highlight of the tour is a visit to the Sansevero Chapel Museum to admire the masterpieces of the world artistic heritage.

Why not to get acquainted with the culture of Neapolitan street food in the city that boasts to be the motherland of pizza? You can choose to try a fried pizza or Neopolitan cuoppo with fried fish. Sfogliatella pastry - the most famous Neapolitan pastry is naturally in the tasting too!

You then continue to the Dante Metro Station which features modern installations by internationally renowned artists. You ride one stop to arrive at the Toledo Metro Art Station, designed around the themes of light and water. Built at 50 m (164 ft) deep, the station extends below the groundwater. After the tour, you return to your hotel and have the rest of the day free.

Today you discover the archeological sites of Pompeii, set near the foot of a picturesque mountain. In 79 AD Pompeii, one of the greatest and richest cities of the Roman age, was tragically completely destroyed as a result of the volcanic eruption of Mount Vesuvius. 

During the trip to this unique UNESCO World Heritage Site, you see the artifacts, city walls, and other excavated finds, buried alive under 4 to 6 m (13-20 ft) of volcanic ash almost 2000 years ago, that give you a detailed insight into the life of the city. 

After the tour, you are transferred back to your hotel in Naples.

After breakfast in your Stromboli hotel you check-out, your driver takes you to the port where you board a ferry taking you to marvelous Sicily. Upon arrival, you are met by your driver and taken to the Taormina hotel for check-in and have some time for lunch (not included) before meeting your private guide.

In the afternoon, meet the private local guide, together you take off to see the highlights of Taormina. During the tour, you stroll along the main street, Corso Umberto I, and visit the Greco-Roman Theater that has Etna as its backdrop.

After the tour, you return to the hotel. You have rest of the day free to enjoy Taormina on your own, spend time on the beach or dine in one of the local restaurants overlooking the bay.

In the morning meet your private driver and set off on a trip to one of the most famous Sicily attractions - Mount Etna, the highest volcano in Europe. Your driver takes you to an access point - the Rifugio Sapienza on the southern slope located 2,000 meters (6562 feet) above sea level. Here you take a walk to visit the "Silvestri" craters and the latest new lava flows and craters from 2001-2003 and enjoy the desert moon atmosphere!

On the way down you also visit a local winery and taste local Etna wine.

After the winery visit you have a transfer back to the Taormina hotel.

Note: Due to the weather conditions and fog, the view of Mount Etna can be limited.

Today after breakfast at the hotel you spend the day with your guide exploring famous Agrigento sights and its surroundings in 4 hours. Your tour begins with a 2-hour guided tour of one of the two highlights of the city, the splendid Valley of the Temples. It's noted UNESCO World Heritage site where you visit the near-intact Temple of Concord, the best-preserved temple in the world and one of the symbols of Sicily.

In the second part of the day enjoy a trip to the seaside to see the famous Scala dei Turchi Cliffs. The dazzling chalky white rocky cliff eroded conveniently into stairs rises 50 meters above sea level. This natural phenomenon so-called "Stairs of the Turks" allows for easy walking. Its gleaming color is eye-catching enough, but what makes it even more remarkable is that it looks like a staircase carved by man even though its shape is entirely natural.

After the tour, you return to your hotel and have the evening at leisure.

The capital of Sicily, Palermo, has been a crossroads for cultures and civilizations for 8 millennia. Then you walk along Villa Bonanno to the Cathedral in Corso Vittorio Emanuele, just to admire the exterior; continue along Vittorio Emanuele to the imposing Four Corners. Then on to the Tuscan fountain in Piazza Pretoria and just behind it see two splendid Arabo-Norman churches, La Martorana and San Cataldo.

  • You can expect to find some shops and restaurants closed from 1-4 p.m. as it is "Riposo" time, Italy's midday siesta. Most places will be also closed on Sundays
