Welcome to the capital of Spain's Catalonia - Barcelona! Upon arrival, your driver meets you at the airport and transfers you to your downtown hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free so you can start exploring the magnificent old town on your own, check out one of the authentic local restaurants or take a good rest in your comfortable room.

Tour of the Barcelona Gothic Quarter

After breakfast, your guide meets you in the hotel lobby and takes you on a wonderful half-day walking tour around the most outstanding attractions of Barcelona. The city obtains one of the biggest and architecturally diverse Medieval districts in Europe. During the city tour, you get to see Barcelona's Old Town called "Casc Antic" and its medieval landmarks.

You walk through the maze of old narrow streets of the Gothic Quarter that was formed around the Roman forum. Then you see the Barcelona Cathedral both from the outside and the inside, pass the former Jewish District "Call", the Sant Jaume Square, see the Generalitat Palace and City Hall from the outside, pass the Square of the King and the former Royal Palace.

You then proceed to the Ribera shore district where you see the Santa Maria del Mar church - the former residence of sailors, traders, and craftsmen who lived and worked there in the Middle Ages. The tour finishes on the most vivid street in Barcelona La Rambla, where you can take a rest at one of the open-air terraces.

After the tour, you return to your hotel and have the rest of the day free.

After breakfast, you check out from the hotel and meet your guide and driver and enjoy a fantastic sightseeing tour dedicated to the world-renowned architectural works of Antonio Gaudi. You start with a visit to the colorful Park Guell, where you spend some time strolling through its mosaic paths and enjoying the great city views.

The day is crowned with a visit to the astonishing Sagrada Familia Basilica - the most brilliant masterpiece of Gaudi that is rightfully considered the most recognizable symbol of Barcelona.

Journey to Valencia & Valencia Old Town Tour

Following breakfast, you check out and start driving along the coastal route to Valencia. The first stop on your way is Sitges, backed by the mountainous Garraf Natural Park. Explore the seafront promenade, lined with grand mansions, visit a compact old town or take a break on one of the Mediterranean beaches in the area.

The next stop is Tarragona, a lovely seaside town boasting numerous ancient Roman ruins to explore. Take a chance to stop by the most impressive one - the Roman amphitheater. What is more, Tarragona houses a beautiful cathedral and the Archaeological Museum, one of the best in Spain.

Continue to Peniscola, a touristic town in the province of Castellon located along the Mediterranean coast. Spend some time taking a nice walk around the old cobbled streets and checking out the local souvenir shops, before heading to Valencia.

  • Recommendation: go inside the impressive Peniscola castle that was used for several Meereen scenes in the "Game of Thrones" series.

Upon arrival to the charming city of Valencia, you check in to your downtown hotel. After some rest, you meet your guide and go on a walking tour of Valencia's old town.

During the tour, you visit Valencia Cathedral which dates back to the 13th century, Valencia's ancient city gates and UNESCO World Heritage Site - Lonja de Seda (the Silk Exchange) built in late Valencian Gothic-style. You also make a visit to the old university of Valencia to admire the valuable sculptures inside. One of the highlights of your tour is a visit to the Central Market where you have a chance to taste local delicacies.

After the excursion is over, you return to your hotel and have the rest of the day free to explore the beautiful city on your own and have some rest after such a busy day.

Winery Tour & Arrival to Madrid

Following breakfast, you check out from your hotel and start your journey by car to Madrid.

  • Optional tour: you can extend your stay in Valencia and explore the famous City of Arts and Science included on the list of 12 Treasures of Spain.

Today your route goes through the wine region of Utiel-Requena, located west of scenic Valencia city. The region has been producing wines for over 2,500 years, and nowadays is famous for its well-established wine tourism. You visit one of the wineries to learn the secrets of the local wine production. And yes, a wine tasting is part of the tour program!

Then you continue driving west until you see the world-famous hanging houses, nestled on a steep cliff, one of Cuenca's most famous sights, and one of the best lesser-known tourist attractions to explore in Spain. Cuenca (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) is also famous for its 12 - 14 centuries Romanesque Cathedral, so don't forget to visit this sacred place before continuing your drive to Madrid

  • Recommendation: stay for lunch in one of the local restaurants and try local dishes ajoarriero and morteruelo.

Upon arrival to the glorious Spanish capital and one of the most beautiful cities in the world, you check in to your downtown hotel. Madrid Old Town Tour

Today prepare to enjoy a fascinating sightseeing tour around the most brilliant attractions of Madrid de los Austrias - the amazing old town of the Spanish capital that treasures historical monuments dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries when Spain was ruled by the House of the Habsburg.

After breakfast, you meet your guide and set off on a journey around the city. You walk towards Plaza de Oriente, admire and then enter the gorgeous Palacio Real (the Royal Palace), see the beautiful exteriors of the Catedral Nuestra Senora de la Almudena and stroll through Major Street.

Next, you proceed to Plaza de la Villa, pass through the always bustling St. Michel's Market, and walk down the picturesque Cava de San Miguel. Your tour finishes at iconic Plaza Mayor and breathtaking Puerta del Sol.

Madrid of the Bourbons & Prado Museum

Today you explore the so-called Madrid of the Bourbons - the 19th-century historical area of the Spanish capital. During the tour your guide walks you through a chain of fabulous squares - Puerta de Alcala, Plaza Cibeles, and three monumental fountains: Cibeles, Apolo, and Neptuno, you proceed to the Spanish Parliament building You will then see the main terminus of the capital - Atocha train station and explore the area of the Golden Triangle of Art made up of three most important art museums of Madrid - the Prado, the Thyssen-Bornemisza, and the Reina Sofia.

The highlight of the tour is a visit to one of the world's greatest art galleries and Madrid's top cultural sight - the Prado Museum. This venue houses a unique collection of fine art displayed in the halls and rooms of this 18th-century Neo-Classical building. You see the most significant gems of the museum's collection, including famous masterpieces by El Greco, Velazquez, Goya, Raphael and Rubens.

After the tour, you return to your hotel and have the rest of the evening free.

In about an hour, you arrive in the scenic city,  check in, and have some time for lunch. Autovia del Olivar Drive & Arrival to Granada

Following breakfast in your hotel, you check out and start a non-guided journey by car. The first stop planned for today is the historic town of Consuegra in the region of La Mancha. 12 white tower Consuegra windmills set on the top of the Cerro Calderico mountain are believed to be the windmills described by Miguel de Cervantes in his legendary 17th-century Consuegra is a place where you can relive and better understand Spanish history, traditions, and culture.

Next, you take a great chance to travel along the new motorway named the Autovia del Olivar (Olive Motorway) from the UNESCO towns of Ubeda and Baeza to Jaen. Province of Jaen is the largest producer of olive oil in the world, so no wonder that along your way you see impressive endless fields of olive trees.

Your route also covers two of Andalucia's fine historic towns - Ubeda and Baeza that display the grand era of the Renaissance times between the 16th and 17th centuries.

In the second part of the day, you arrive in Granada, check in to your centrally-located hotel, and have an evening at leisure to rest after such an eventful day.

  • Recommendation: you can visit the Olive and Olive Oli Visitor Center in Ubeda to get a better understanding of every aspect of olive oil production (closed from 2 pm to Recommendation: you can continue your journey by car through the picturesque Parque Natural Sierra Mágina (this extends your trip by 2 hours).

Alhambra of Granada Tour

Yes, you are extremely lucky as today you are going to join the club of those who have been to one of Spain's most significant attractions - the mind-blowing Alhambra Fortress, a former residence of the Muslim rulers and their court. In the morning after breakfast, you meet your local guide and head towards scenic Alhambra. Keep in mind that it's impossible not to fall in love with its numerous arabesques, porticos, pools, and Islamic ornamental masterpieces of its hallways (the Alhambra entrance and parking fare are included).

Visit to Granada & Arrival to Seville

After breakfast, you check out from your hotel and start your trip to Cordoba. Upon arrival, you meet your private guide and enjoy a 3-hour guided walking tour around the most outstanding sights of Cordoba that used to be the largest city of Roman Spain.

While exploring the city with your guided tour you see the beautiful Roman Bridge, the famous 14th-century Royal Castle - Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos, and the Great Mosque of Cordoba that is the oldest mosque in Europe, a perfect illustration of Spain's unique mixture of cultures, religions, and epochs. No surprise it is officially called the Mosque-Cathedral, as alongside the most significant monument of the western Muslim world it also boasts Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque styles in its Christian part!

  • Recommendation: your way goes through beautiful Antequera, significantly influenced by Moorish, Roman and Spanish cultures. Spend some time exploring this ancient Andalusian town before you heading to Cordoba.

Visit of the Seville Cathedral & Alcazar

Today you get to experience authentic Andalusian spirit in one of its most important cities. After breakfast at your hotel, you meet with your guide in the hotel lobby and have a panoramic city tour of Seville.

Your sightseeing program features top sights starting from the symbol of the city - the Giralda Tower that used to be a minaret back in the days. You then visit the Seville Cathedral, a Roman Catholic cathedral that is the third-largest church in the world. It was built in the 16th century to demonstrate the power and wealth of the city. Next on your list is the beautiful Real Alcazar of Seville - the oldest European royal residence composed of a group of buildings from different time periods. Cathedral and Alcazar along with General Archive of the Indies are registered by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

The rest of the day after the tour is at leisure.
