Bordeaux Journey

Upon arrival at Bordeaux rail station, you are met by your private driver and transferred to your centrally located hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free.

After breakfast, meet your guide to start the tour. Journey to the Saint-Emilion region, where you'll learn about local wines and culture. Explore the hilltop village and enjoy a wine tasting with appetizers. Return to Bordeaux for a French picnic lunch.

Then, travel along the famous "Chateau Route" to Medoc, visiting a prestigious Great Classified Growth 1855 estate. Tour the vineyards, vat room, and chateau cellar to learn about winemaking. Finally, return to Bordeaux to wrap up the tour.

Today after breakfast, you meet your local guide and drive to the Atlantic coast and Arcachon Bay. Your guide will provide you with information about the stunning bay as you go. 

Its 1500 hectares are fed by the Atlantic Ocean forming an inland sea with the colors of a lagoon, bordered on one side by a fine white dune rising to 110 meters, called the Dune du Pilat. This dune is the biggest in Europe! From its summit, you can also admire the beautiful Landes forest. Enjoy the amazing views of the ocean, the bay, and the forest! You are then taken back to Bordeaux.

After breakfast, begin your day with a guided walking tour of Bordeaux and a visit to the Museum of Wine and Trade. Together with your guide, explore the top sights of the city, including Place de la Bourse, the Water Mirror, Opera, Place de la Comedie, Porte Caillau, the riverfront, Quinconces Square, and Cathedrale Saint Andre. 

Learn about the history of Bordeaux wines, their unique attributes, and the city's trade history. Conclude the tour with a wine tasting at the Museum of Wine and Trade.

Today is the last day in Aquitaine region. Following breakfast, you have a check out from the hotel and your private driver takes you to the rail station or airport depending on where you travel next.
