Danish Grand Expedition

Welcome to the historical "harbor of merchants" and the outstanding capital of Denmark - Copenhagen! Upon arrival, you are met by your private driver, who transfers you to the hotel for check-in.

The rest of the day is free so you can start exploring the magnificent city center on your own, dine in one of the local restaurants or take a good rest in your comfortable room.

After breakfast at the hotel you meet your private guide in the lobby and go on a breathtaking panoramiс walking city tour of Copenhagen.

First, you proceed to Amalienborg Palace, the home of the Danish Royal family in order to see the Changing of the Guards. Your guide will ensure you have a fine close-up view of the guards.

You then enjoy an easy-paced walk through the center of Copenhagen. You walk to the colorful harbor area of Nyhavn, then into the Kings New Square. After that you head to the center of power in Denmark, Christiansborg, home of the Danish Government, and the beautiful Renaissance Stock Exchange built in the early 1600s. A stroll through the lovely old streets and squares brings you to the Round Tower. 

You may stay in the center of the city after the tour if you wish, or your guide can accompany you on an easy walk back to the hotel.

You have the afternoon at leisure. Alternatively, you can continue exploring the city on your own and visit the impressive Gefion Fountain and the symbol of Copenhagen, the famous Little Mermaid.

Enjoy a private tour of the historical city of Roskilde. Together with your guide, you take a short train ride and start with a visit to the Viking Ship Museum. It provides an incredible insight into the world of the Vikings. Before you return to Copenhagen you visit the most treasured landmark of the city - the Roskilde Cathedral that houses 39 tombs of the Danish monarchs. 

Following breakfast, you check out and meet your driver, who will transfer you to the train station.

& Odense Escapade: A Deep Dive into Danish Culture 

Upon arrival, you will check in at your hotel before embarking on a captivating journey through Odense's rich history and culture. Please note, the transfer from the train station to the hotel is not included.

Explore the enchanting Hans Christian Andersen Museum to discover the life and legacy of the famous fairy tale author. Then, marvel at the grandeur of Odense Cathedral and immerse yourself in its architectural beauty. Finally, delve into the splendid Egeskov Castle, where you'll wander through lush gardens and opulent rooms. Conclude your adventure with a leisurely stroll along Odense Harbor, followed by a guided walk through the city center's charming streets and bustling squares. 

Note: Egeskov’s summer season runs from mid-April to mid-October. The castle is closed during the winter.

Following breakfast in your hotel, you check out and head to the train station.

 Aarhus Through Time: Bridging Past and Present 

Upon arrival, you head for your centrally located hotel for check-in. Then embark on a captivating journey through Aarhus, Denmark's vibrant cultural hub, and discover its most iconic landmarks and hidden gems. Begin your exploration at The Infinite Bridge, a striking architectural marvel offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Next, marvel at The Iceberg, an innovative residential complex that stands as a testament to modern Scandinavian design. Immerse yourself in the world of contemporary art at ARoS Aarhus Art Museum, home to an impressive collection of international and Danish artworks. Delve into the city's rich history and heritage as you visit landmarks such as The City Hall and Aarhus Cathedral, and step back in time at Den Gamle By (The Old Town). Experience the tranquility of nature at the University Park and the bustling energy of the Aarhus Docklands. 

Following breakfast, you check out and head to the train station.

 &  Aalborg Old Town Private Walking Tour 

Upon arrival, you head to your centrally located hotel for check-in.

After some free time, you will enjoy a private walking tour among the famous Aalborg attractions! During 3 hours, you see old merchant houses built in the early 17th century along the city's river, as well as Budolfi Cathedral, constructed in the 11th century, to admire ornaments and sculptures which are hundreds of years old, and Aalborg Kloster (The Hospital of the Holy Ghost) - the oldest social institution in Denmark.

Move on to the cobblestoned streets of Old City Center and Hjelmerstald - one of the shortest streets, consisting of only 4 charming houses! 

Following breakfast, you check out, meet your driver, and depart from Aalborg.

 Half Day Guided City Tour 

Upon arrival, you check into your centrally located hotel.

After some free time, you will embark on a 4-hour tour* of Esbjerg and visit the Fisheries and Maritime Museum with large aquariums and a seal enclosure. The museum displays local themes like fisheries, navigation, and offshore activities. Witness an open-air area with ships, workshops, a bunker from the Second World War, and a fully equipped life-saving station. Continue to a 30-foot-tall Men at Sea Monument and enjoy bird and deer watching at the captivating Vognsbøl Park.

Step back in time and explore the historic streets of Ribe on this captivating 3-hour walking tour. Following breakfast in your hotel, you check out and depart from Esbjerg

Upon arrival in Copenhagen, you will have the option to continue your Scandinavian journey or be transferred to the airport.
