Your journey begins with a warm reception at Oviedo station, followed by a guided tour of this historic city, known for its charming old town and rich architectural heritage.

After the tour, board the luxurious train, where you’ll be welcomed with a toast, introduced to the crew, and shown to your elegant accommodations.

As El Transcantábrico sets off toward Viveiro, Galicia, savor a gourmet dinner on board, enjoying the scenic landscapes along the way.

Arrive in Viveiro for a restful overnight stay on the train.

Wake up to an early arrival in Viveiro and start the day with a delicious breakfast buffet on board.

After breakfast, pilgrims who wish to walk the first stage of the Camino from Ferrol to Pontedeume (26 km) will be transferred by bus to the starting point.

For those opting for a more relaxed experience, a scenic bus tour will take them to the northernmost point of the Iberian Peninsula, the breathtaking Cape of Estaca de Bares. The journey continues with visits to Bares Beach and the charming fishing village of O Barqueiro, with free time for lunch.

In the afternoon, all guests will return to the train—walkers will be picked up in Pontedeume, while others reunite in Viveiro.

Enjoy a leisurely evening, with free time for dinner, before spending another restful night on board in Viveiro.

As you enjoy a leisurely breakfast on board, the train will travel to Ortigueira.

Ortigueira & Optional Tours
Upon arrival, pilgrims wishing to walk the second stage of the Camino (31 km from Pontedeume to Abegondo) will be transferred by bus to the starting point.

For those opting for a cultural excursion, a scenic tour will take them to the Sanctuary of San Andrés de Teixido, a legendary pilgrimage site, followed by a visit to the coastal town of Cedeira, where they will have free time for lunch.

In the afternoon, all guests will return to the train—pilgrims will be picked up in Abegondo, while others reunite in Ortigueira.

Enjoy free time for dinner before a restful overnight stay on board in Ortigueira.

As you enjoy breakfast on board, the train will make its way to Ferrol.

Upon arrival, pilgrims walking the third stage of the Camino (Abegondo to A Calle, 25 km) will be transferred to the starting point.

Meanwhile, other passengers will take a bus to A Coruña, where they will spend the morning exploring the city's vibrant streets and landmarks, with free time for lunch.

In the afternoon, all travelers will return to the train in Ferrol.

Tonight, everyone will come together for a special group dinner at a traditional Pulpería, where you can savor Galicia’s famous octopus dish (pulpo a la gallega).

After enjoying breakfast on board, pilgrims will be transferred by bus to begin the final stage of the Camino, walking 27 km from A Calle to Santiago de Compostela.

Meanwhile, other passengers will travel by bus from Ferrol to Santiago de Compostela, where everyone will have free time to explore this historic pilgrimage city.

In the late afternoon, both pilgrims and tourists will reunite in Ferrol before boarding the train.

As the journey continues towards Oviedo, savor a delicious dinner on board (catering service) and reflect on the unforgettable experiences of the trip.
