Arrival & Blue Lagoon Visit
Welcome to Reykjavik - the picturesque capital of Iceland! Your driver meets you at the airport and transfers you to the famous Blue Lagoon, where you start your Iceland adventure with a relaxing visit to one of the most visited attractions in Iceland.
You have approximately 2 hours to soak up in the Northern sun while relaxing in warm geothermal seawater surrounded by a surreal lava field.
After this relaxing experience your private driver transfers you to your hotel for check-in.


Reykjavik City Tour
Today, together with your private guide-driver, you go on an amazing 3-hour city tour around the most significant places in Reykjavik and the nearby area. During the tour, you stop by the official residence of the President of Iceland, called Bessastadir. Your next stop is Hafnarfjörður - a port town and municipality located about 10 km from Reykjavik. This place is known as the home of the "Hidden people", Huldufolk from local folklore, meaning elves in Icelandic. Then you proceed to the futuristic Perlan dome from which you see spectacular views over Reykjavik and its surroundings. You make a stop at Hofdi, the building where the all-important summit between the former U.S. President Ronald Reagan and the former U.S.S.R. Secretary General Mikhail Gorbachev took place in 1986.
Then, continue to Hallgrímskirkja Church, the tallest building in Iceland, where you’ll have the chance to walk up the stairs and enjoy a view of the city center (entrance tickets are not included). You will also see the Althingi building—a classical 19th-century structure that houses the main debating chamber of the Icelandic parliament.
The rest of the day remains at your leisure.

Departure & Tour en route
In the morning, you check out from the hotel, meet your guide-driver, and head to Vik with a tour en route.
The very impressive Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss waterfalls are your first stop. Seljalandsfoss cascades down the mountainside of West Eyjafjoll and is narrow and very high. There is even a path at the bottom of the cliff providing a safe and easy opportunity to walk behind the waterfall. You then see Skogafoss - an impressive 60 m high waterfall located in Skogar.
You also get to see Reynisfjara shore and the black sand beach.

Travel along Iceland’s breathtaking south coast, passing through dramatic black sand plains at Mýrdalssandur, the striking canyon of Fjaðrárgljúfur, and the towering Lómagnúpur Cliffs. Explore the charming village of Kirkjubæjarklaustur and admire the Sister Waterfall before continuing across the vast Skeiðarársandur glacial outwash plains. Enjoy scenic stops at Skaftafell National Park, known for its stunning landscapes and hiking trails, before reaching the iconic Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, where floating icebergs create an unforgettable finale to this journey.

Today you continue your adventure exploring the east coast of Iceland. In the morning, check out from the hotel, meet your driver, and embark on the tour. Please see the tour description in the connection section.
Travel from Höfn to Egilsstaðir along Iceland’s breathtaking east coast, passing through charming fishing villages and dramatic fjords. Along the way, stop at the Viking Village film set, the picturesque town of Djúpivogur, and the serene Breiðdalsvík. Continue to Stöðvarfjörður, where you can visit the unique Petra Stone Collection (optional, 20 euros/person), then on to Fáskrúðsfjörður, known for its French heritage, and finally Eskifjörður, a historic fishing town with scenic views. This route offers a perfect blend of culture, history, and natural beauty.
The duration of the connection: 8-10 hours.

Once you arrive, settle into your hotel and spend the remainder of the day at leisure.

Departure & Tour on the way
In the morning, meet your guide-driver and head to Akureyri.
At the beginning of this touring day, you visit Möðrudalur farm settlement before heading to Dettifoss, Europe’s most powerful waterfall, which is also featured in Game of Thrones.
Then you visit the geothermal area in Mývatn, and you can optionally take a bath in the Mývatn Nature Baths, the Blue Lagoon of the north.
There you also explore Lake Mývatn with its interesting pseudocraters and Dimmuborgir lava formations, visit the spectacular waterfall Goðafoss.
The tour ends today at Akureyri.

Please note: Entry fee to Geothermal Sea Baths is NOT included, but can be added upon booking the tour or paid on site. Those who don´t want to try the baths can spend time in the lovely town, visit the Whale Museum or just enjoy one of the nice cafes in town. Pickup from the hotel is included.

Whale Watching Tour & Departure
In the morning, check out from the hotel and leave your luggage.
Meet your group in the morning to experience an unbelievable trip to see the incredible Eyjafjord Humpbacks in their natural habitat. Your professional guide is an expert at spotting them and telling you all about their behavior. During the tour, you sail onboard the only high speed, specially modified, whale watching ship in Iceland. Capable of carrying 200 persons with spectacular views from our “cinema styled” viewing platforms.
After the tour, you return to Akureyri, collect your luggage, and your private driver will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Reykjavik.
