Exploring the Highlights of Southern Armenia
Today following breakfast you meet your guide-driver and embark on a fascinating day-trip to the south of Armenia.
Firstly, you visit the Tatev Monastery, an important historical monument dating back to the 9th century. To reach the monastery you experience a breathtaking ride via the world's "longest non-stop double track cable car", as it is called in the Guinness Book of Records (cableway length is 5,750 m or 18,865 ft).
After lunch, you explore "Devil's Bridge" and the natural swimming pools. With your guide, you visit an observation point to see the beautiful landscape from the best angle.
The next on your list is Zorats Karer, the famous prehistoric archaeological sight and the world's ancient observatory.
After the tour, you return back to your hotel in Jermuk.

In the morning you check out, meet your guide-driver and start your touring day from exploring area around Jermuk.
You start the day with visiting Noratus village, where you find the largest Khachkar cemetery. Khachkars are characteristic of Medieval Christian Armenian art.
The next on you list is cheese making master class at a local family farm where you taste various types of cheese made in wine and cognac and enjoy warm hospitality of the hosts. You then have a traditional Armenian lunch rural house in Yeghegnadzor.
After the tour you are transferred to Yerevan hotel.
