Welcome to the marvelous capital of Finland - Helsinki! Upon arrival, your driver meets you at the airport and transfers you to your centrally-located hotel for check-in.

Helsinki City Tour

Following breakfast at your hotel, your private guide takes you on a wonderful 4-hour walking tour to show you the best Helsinki ​can offer. During the tour, you walk through the vivid Central Harbor and Market Square, explore the charming Old Town, visit the famous Rock Church and take a short tram ride. 

After the tour, you return to your Helsinki hotel and have the rest of the day free.

Arrival in Rovaniemi & Aurora Trail

After breakfast, you check out from the Helsinki hotel to continue your Scandinavia journey. Your private driver transfers you to the airport for a quick flight to the Motherland of Santa Claus - Rovaniemi (tickets are included).

Upon arrival, you are transferred to your hotel in the center of Rovaniemi for check-in.

Later we invite you to a magical winter forest where you have a chance to enjoy a blaze of Auroras. Primetime for watching the Nordic Lights is between 9 pm and midnight, so your group tour starts late in the evening. While you enjoy the winter fairy forest, your guide prepares some snacks and hot drinks for you at our outside camp. 

Group transportation by car and transfers from your hotel and back are included.

Snowmobile Safari & Santa Claus Village

Today you enjoy a fantastic group tour during which you visit famous Lapland sights and try exciting northern activities. This day starts with a brief introduction to snowmobiling after which you start driving to the wilderness.

In the middle of the ride, you are invited to warm up near an open fire and enjoy grill sausages with warm drinks. Snowmobile safari with a stop takes about 3-4 hours.

  • Note: in order to drive a snowmobile please make sure to have your driver license with you.
  • Note: due to unsuitable weather conditions (e.g. there is no snow or it is raining), a snowmobile ride and reindeer sleigh will be replaced with a visit to the Arktikum Museum.

After the safari, you continue your trip to Santa Claus Village where you have some time to visit the Snowman World and attend a real ice bar in it. You can also buy some traditional Finnish souvenirs and send postcards with special Arctic Circle stamp from Santa Claus's main post office.

  • Note: Snowman World is open from the beginning of December to the end of March.

After the tour, you are transferred back to the Rovaniemi hotel and the rest of the day is free.

Northern Lights Seeking by Reindeer Sledge

Today you have the afternoon at leisure to explore the surrounding area on your own. In the evening you are invited for a reindeer safari through a fairy-tale winter forest. 

During the group tour, you learn why the reindeer sleigh is a traditional mode of transport in Lapland and get one more unique chance to catch the Nordic Lights as the ride takes place at night-time away from the city lights.

After about a 1-hour ride you arrive at a reindeer farm. Here you are treated with a cup of coffee with a sweet bun, as well as with stories about the lifestyle of a reindeer herder.

After the tour, you are transferred back to your Rovaniemi hotel and the rest of the day is at leisure.

Husky Safari & Transfer to the Igloo Village

After breakfast in the hotel, you start your day with a trip to a husky farm. Here you meet and make friends with the lovely huskies - enthusiastic arctic sled dogs that greet you with barking and jumping. You then have short instructions on safety and driving and enjoy a group guided husky safari.

The route of about 15 km (9 miles) takes you through a fantastic winter landscape. During the stops, you can change places as a driver and passenger. After the adventure ride lasting 1-1.5 hours, you spend some time at the husky farm. Your group is invited to gather around the campfire to hear the mushers telling about life with the huskies.

  • Note: winter clothing is provided for the tour

After the tour, you pick up your luggage from the hotel, and your driver takes you to your next destination, the Igloo Village.

You arrive in the glass Igloos Village which is beautifully located close to the Arctic Circle. The unique accommodation allows watching the Northern Lights and starry skies in warmth and comfort. After check-in, you are welcomed to enjoy the Nordic beauty of the surrounding area on your own.
