Following breakfast at your hotel, your private guide takes you on a wonderful 5-hour walking tour to show you the best Helsinki can offer.

During the tour, you walk through the vivid Central Harbor and Market Square, explore the charming Old Town, visit the famous Rock Church, and take an exciting tram ride.

Then you head to the National Museum of Finland where you discover the eventful history and many-sided culture of Finland. Travel back in time and explore ancient artifacts, including attire, weapons, and silverware. 

The highlight of the day is a visit to the Vintti Workshop situated on the third floor of the museum. You and your kids have an amazing time together trying various traditional activities like grinding corn into flour, building a wall out of chopped wood, and having a seat on a horse.

  • Note: the museum is closed on Mondays.

After the tour, you return back to your centrally located hotel and have the rest of the day free. You can join our carefully designed optional tour.

  • Note: If you travel from December 1 to December 22, we advise you to extend your city tour and pay a visit to Helsinki Christmas Market with a professional guide to get acquainted with local Christmas traditions.

After breakfast, you check out from your hotel and continue your journey to new adventures. Your private driver transfers you to the airport for a quick flight to the miraculous Motherland of Santa Claus - Rovaniemi (tickets are included). Upon arrival, you are transferred to your hotel in the center of Rovaniemi for check-in.

Ready to witness a one-of-a-kind natural wonder? We invite you to a magical winter forest where you have a chance to enjoy a blaze of Auroras, the mesmerizing lights dancing in the dark night sky. Primetime for watching the Northern Lights is between 9 pm and midnight, so your group tour starts late in the evening.

After a 1-hour ride, you arrive at a reindeer farm. Here you enjoy the charming natural views while drinking a cup of coffee with a sweet bun and listening stories about the lifestyle of a reindeer herder.

Following the tour, you return to your hotel and the rest of the day is free.

Fun for the Whole Family at Santa Park

Following breakfast, you set off on an unforgettable adventure to the fantasy world filled with the warm and magical spirit of Christmas - Santa Park! Have an amazing family day in the Home Cavern of Santa Claus and enjoy the great variety of thematic sights, shows, and children-friendly activities.

Feel like a real Santa helper and get your official diploma at the wonderful Elf School, cross the underground border of the Arctic Circle, and decorate your own gingerbread cookie. Local magical elves inspire and help you to create your unique piece of Christmas art and crown your day with the special elf show. As today you are closer to the magical world as ever, pay a visit to the Santa's office to whisper your wishes directly into his ear! Lunch, gingerbread for the workshop, and two-way transfers are included.

  • Note: the tickets are valid two consecutive days, so you can continue your visit to the park also the next day. Santa Park is open from November 9 to January 11.
     
  • Note: as an alternative for this day, you can enjoy a trip to Ranua Wildpark to meet polar bears and many other arctic animal species, visit the traditional sauna or have a Lappish cooking class. Contact your destination specialist for details.

Snowmobile Safari & Visit of Santa Claus Village

Today you enjoy a fantastic group tour during which you visit famous Lapland sights and try an exciting northern family activity.

This day starts with a brief introduction to snowmobiling after which you start driving to the wilderness. In the middle of the ride, you are invited to warm up near an open fire and enjoy grill sausages with warm drinks. Snowmobile safari with a stop takes about 3-4 hours.

  • Please note: In order to drive a snowmobile please make sure to have your driver license with you. Children and adults without a driving license can also join the safari sitting on a sledge. Tour is recommended from 4 years old.
  • Please note: Due to unsuitable weather conditions (e.g. there is no snow or it is raining), a snowmobile ride and reindeer sleigh will be replaced with a visit to the Arktikum Museum.

After the safari, you continue your trip to the magical Santa Claus Village. Step into a fairy-tale and explore the wonders of the Snowman World with your loved ones. Moreover, don't miss a chance to make your childhood dream come true and send a postcard with a special Arctic Circle stamp from Santa Claus's main post office! You can also buy some traditional Finnish souvenirs and attend a real ice bar.

  • Please note: Snowman World is open from the beginning of December to the end of March.

After the tour, you are transferred back to the hotel.

After breakfast, you check out, leave your luggage at the hotel lobby and travel to a husky farm. Here you meet and make friends with the lovely huskies - enthusiastic arctic sled dogs that greet you with barking and jumping. 

You then have short instructions on safety and driving and enjoy a group guided husky safari. The route of about 15 km (9 miles) takes you through a fantastic winter landscape. During the stops, you can change places as a driver and passenger to enjoy your winter family experience to the fullest! After the adventure ride lasting 1-1.5 hours, you spend some time at the husky farm. Your group is invited to gather around the campfire to hear the mushers telling about life with the huskies.

After the tour, you pick up your luggage from the hotel, and your driver takes you to the airport for the flight to Helsinki.

Upon arrival, you are transferred to your hotel for check-in and have some rest after a long busy day.
