Today's program includes exploration of the Piazza del Duomo with a visit to the Baptistery dedicated to St. John the Baptist.

As you proceed to the main square of the city - Piazza della Repubblica - you pass by the touristic area of the Strozzi Palace a bustling shopping street, via Tornabuoni.

We also visit the Galleria dell'Accademia to see the famous Michelangelo's statue David as well before ending the tour on the Ponte Vecchio.

After the tour you return to your hotel and enjoy the evening at your own leisure.

Departure
Following breakfast in your hotel, you check out and meet your private driver for a transfer to La Spezia, with a stop in Lucca along the way for a guided tour.

Upon arrival in La Spezia, you will check in to your hotel and have the rest of the day at your leisure. 

Day Trip to Cinque Terre

Your adventure begins at La Spezia Centrale station, where you’ll meet your local guide and hop on a scenic train to explore three stunning Cinque Terre villages. Each stop offers its own unique charm—colorful houses, narrow alleys, and breathtaking sea views. 

Enjoy relaxed walks along vineyard-lined cliffs and scenic paths overlooking the Mediterranean. Your guide will tailor the itinerary based on weather and crowds, ensuring a smooth and memorable experience.

Following a day immersed in the beauty, culture, and coastal charm of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, you'll return to La Spezia by train.

Departure

After breakfast you check-out from the hotel and your driver transfers you to Santa Margherita Ligure,  a charming seaside town on the Italian Riviera.

Upon arrival at your hotel, the rest of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure. 

Gems of Rapallo & Portofino

Meet your private guide and begin your tour with a short train ride to Rapallo. Upon arrival, explore the town’s iconic landmarks, including the 16th-century Castello sul Mare, which overlooks the harbor, and the beautiful Basilica of Saints Gervasius and Protasius - reflecting Rapallo’s rich history. Enjoy a leisurely stroll along the elegant Lungomare Vittorio Veneto, then wander through the charming cobblestone streets at the heart of the town.

After the tour, meet your private driver and continue to Portofino, a picturesque gem on the Italian Riviera renowned for its elegance and natural beauty. Discover historic sites such as Castello Brown and the Church of St. Martin. Stroll through the vibrant Piazzetta, lined with chic boutiques and inviting cafés, and take in the harbor’s luxurious yachts and breathtaking coastal views.

After the tour, you will return to your hotel. 

Departure
Today marks the end of your Ligurian getaway. Your driver will arrive at the scheduled time to take you to the airport, leaving you with beautiful memories of Italy’s coast and culture.
