Upon arrival, your driver meets you and takes you to your centrally located hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free so you can start exploring the magnificent city center on your own, dine in one of the local restaurants or take a good rest in your comfortable room.

Fontainebleau and Vaux-le-Vicomte Exploration

Indulge in a private, guided day journey to two of France’s most enchanting royal estates, Fontainebleau and Vaux-le-Vicomte. Your day begins at the majestic Château de Fontainebleau, a residence of kings and emperors for over eight centuries. As you wander through its elegant halls, you follow in the footsteps of the Capetians, Valois, Bourbons and Orléans, and pause where Napoleon once took his poignant farewell from Empress Marie-Louise and their son.

Your journey continues to the exquisite Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte, a masterpiece of harmony and grace set amid storybook gardens. Surrounded by sweeping perspectives and tranquil reflections, this remarkable château reveals the beauty and ambition that inspired Versailles itself, offering a perfect ending to a day steeped in romance, history and refined splendour.

Market Treasures & Wine Tasting in Paris

Stroll through the lively streets of the 17th arrondissement on a guided market walk, where daily life unfolds in colour and fragrance. From Tuesday to Friday, begin your morning among local stalls overflowing with fresh cheeses, crusty bread, fine chocolates and delicate pastries, tasting your way through the neighbourhood’s best flavours.

Your journey continues in a traditional French wine cellar, where three carefully chosen wines await, paired with generous slices of charcuterie. In this intimate setting, the cellar’s owner shares stories of each bottle and its origins, inviting you to slow down, savour the moment, and discover the harmony between wine, food and French savoir-faire.

This 3-hour tour includes a hot beverage, cheese tasting with bread, chocolates, pastries, a wine tasting with three wines, and charcuterie. A minimum of two participants is required.

Following breakfast in your hotel you check out, meet your driver and continue your journey.

Chenonceau with Cave Lunch

Your day opens at the spellbinding Château de Chenonceau, where priority access leads you directly into its elegant salons. Often called the “Château of the Ladies,” this Renaissance treasure seems to float upon the Cher River, embraced by terraced gardens and mirrored in the water below.

The journey continues to secret troglodyte wine cellars sculpted into the pale stone of the Loire’s hillsides. Within these candle-lit caves, you savour a relaxed lunch paired with a tasting of local wines, surrounded by the quiet magic of the underground world.

In the afternoon, arrive at the grand Château de Chambord, a triumph of French Renaissance architecture and one of the world’s most recognisable castles. Accompanied by your guide, explore its vast chambers and majestic staircases, stepping inside without delay and immersing yourself in the enduring splendour of royal France.

Loire Valley Sampler Tour

Embark on a dreamy half-day escape through the undulating charm of the Loire Valley, beginning with a private pick-up from your hotel or train station. With your knowledgeable guide by your side, step into a warm, family-run vineyard, where the art of winemaking is shared like a whispered secret. Stroll through cool, shadowed cellars, uncover the story behind each bottle, and savor a delicate tasting of local wines — often in the intimate presence of the owners themselves.
