Bienvenido a Madrid - the glorious Spanish capital and one of the most beautiful cities in the world! Upon arrival, you are transferred to your downtown hotel for check-in.
The rest of the day is free so you can start exploring the magnificent old town on your own, dine in one of the authentic local restaurants or take a good rest in your comfortable room.
Madrid Old Town Tour
Today prepare to enjoy a fascinating sightseeing tour around the most brilliant attractions of Madrid de los Austrias - the amazing old town of the Spanish capital that treasures historical monuments dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries when Spain was ruled by the House of the Habsburg.
After breakfast you meet your private guide and set off on a journey around the city. You walk towards Plaza de Oriente, admire and then enter the gorgeous Palacio Real (the Royal Palace), see the beautiful exteriors of the Catedral Nuestra Senora de la Almudena and stroll through Major Street.
Next you proceed to Plaza de la Villa, pass through the always bustling St. Michel's Market and walk down the picturesque Cava de San Miguel. Your tour finishes at iconic Plaza Mayor and breathtaking Puerta del Sol.
After the touring is over you return to your hotel and have the rest of the day free.
Madrid of the Bourbons & Prado Museum
Today you explore the so-called Madrid of the Bourbons - the 19th-century historical area of the Spanish capital.
During the tour your guide walks you through a chain of fabulous squares - Puerta de Alcala, Plaza Cibeles and three monumental fountains: Cibeles, Apolo and Neptuno, you proceed to the Spanish Parliament building You will then see the main terminus of the capital - Atocha train station and explore the area of the Golden Triangle of Art made up of three most important art museums of Madrid - the Prado, the Thyssen-Bornemisza and the Reina Sofia.
The highlight of the tour is the visit to one of the world's greatest art galleries and Madrid's top cultural sight - the Prado Museum. This venue houses a unique collection of fine art displayed in the halls and rooms of this 18th-century Neo-Classical building. You see the most significant gems of the museum's collection, including the famous masterpieces of El Greco, Velazquez, Goya, Raphael and Rubens.
After the tour, you return to your hotel and have the rest of the day free.

After breakfast you check out and depart from Madrid.

During the tour, you visit the remains of the Roman Empire, including the Aqueduct of Segovia, one of the best preserved ancient monuments on the Iberian peninsula. Segovia used to be the residence to some of Castilian kings and today it boasts with some of the most important medieval groups of buildings in Spain.
Finally, admire the "Lady of the Cathedrals" and view the most spectacular castle in Spain, Alcazar, which was built as a fortress but has also been used as a royal palace, state prison, college, and military academy.
After the lunch break, you proceed to Avila, a medieval city in the province of Castile-Leon in Western Spain, about 70 miles northwest of Madrid. Founded in the 11th century to protect the Spanish territories from the Moors, Avila has a magnificently well-preserved city wall, a historic cathedral, a number of Romanesque churches, and an authentic medieval atmosphere. For all these reasons, the entire Old Town of Avila has been designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. For pilgrims, the city of Avila is important because of its association with the great mystic and reformer St. Teresa de Jesus, better known as St. Teresa of Avila.
After the tour, your driver will transfer you to Salamanca for the check in to your hotel.

Upon arrival at your hotel you have the evening at leisure.
Salamanca City Tour
Following breakfast you meet your private guide at the hotel lobby and start a 2,5-hour walking tour in Salamanca. With a history dating to the Celtic era, this beautiful World Heritage city is known for its amazing architecture.
The first place worth to visit is Historical Building of the Salamanca University. Founded in 12th century, it is the oldest university in Spain and the third oldest university in the world. Then you proceed to the Plaza Mayor which was built in the traditional Spanish baroque style and renown as one of the most beautiful Spanish squares.
The next destination is the incredible House of Shells. Built in 15th century, it combines Gothic, Moorish and Italian architectural styles. You can explore this unique building which includes about 400 shells into its wall from outside. There are different legends which explain the meaning of such a decoration, one of them tells that shells symbolize love.
You then head to the Cathedrals of Salamanca: The Old and The New ones. You have a great chance to enjoy the combination of Romanesque and Gothic architectural styles founded in different historical epochs all at once. Then you enter both of cathedrals to enjoy their views from inside.
After the tour you return to your hotel and have the rest of the day free.

Following breakfast in your hotel, you check out and meet your private driver for the transfer.
Arrival & City Tour
Upon arrival, your driver meets you at the train station and takes you to your downtown hotel.
After check-in meet your guide for a walking city tour of Leon. During the tour you visit the Leon Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the Royal Pantheon of the Church of San Isidoro, known as the ‘Sistine Chapel of Romanesque Art’.
You also explore from the outside Casa Botines, designed by Antoni Gaudi, Palacio Guzman and see the remains of the old Roman wall which once surrounded Leon.
After the tour you return to your hotel and enjoy evening at your own leisure.
Departure:
The first half of the day is free for you to enjoy and explore Leon on your own. Alternatively, you can join one of our carefully planned optional day trips to Burgos or Oviedo.
In the evening you are transferred to the rail station to take a train to Santiago De Compostela.
Arrival
Upon arrival , you are transferred to the hotel for check-in and have the evening at leisure.
Santiago de Compostela Sightseeing
After breakfast at the hotel, meet your private guide in the lobby and enjoy a wonderful walking city tour of all the must-see places of Santiago de Compostela.
During the tour you see its main attractions, including the Catedral de Santiago de Compostela. The capital of northwest Spain’s Galicia region is known as the culmination of the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route, and the alleged burial site of the Biblical apostle St. James.
After the tour you return to your hotel. The rest of the day is free.
Day Trip to La Coruña & Finisterre
Following breakfast you meet your guide and driver and proceed to La Coruña. Upon arrival you have a sightseeing tour of the city and have a chance to see the Hercules Tower, the only working Roman lighthouse in the world (s. II A.C.) & UNESCO World Heritage Site.
After a lunch break you proceed to Finisterre - final destination for many pilgrims on the Way of St. James. Finisterre is often called 'the end of the earth' because of its position as one of the westernmost points on the European mainland.
After the full day trip you are transferred to your hotel in Santiago de Compostela.

This day is free for you to enjoy and explore Santiago de Compostela on your own. Alternatively, you can join one of our carefully planned optional day trips to Ourense or Lugo.
Departure
This is the last day of your amazing Spanish adventure! After breakfast, your driver transfers you to the Santiago de Compostela airport or train station for your departure back home. We wish you a safe flight and hope to work on your future trips!
