Welcome to Malta and its capital Valletta - one of the most historic sites in the world!
Upon arrival, your driver meets you at the airport and transfers you to your centrally located hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free so you can start exploring the surrounding area on your own, dine in one of the local restaurants or take a good rest in your comfortable room.
Walking City Tour of Valletta
After breakfast at your hotel, meet your private guide in the lobby and enjoy a wonderful 4-hour city tour of all of Valletta's must-see places.
During the tour you explore the Barrakka Gardens, adorned with fountains, greenery and open panoramic views of the city. Admire the exquisite Baroque architecture and Italian artwork from the inside in the Cathedral of St John in Valletta. Another highlight you visit today is the Grandmaster's Palace in Valletta that was built between the 16th and 18th centuries.
The rest of the day is free for you to enjoy Valletta on your own. We recommend visiting the Malta Experience Show, a popular audio-visual attraction in a special auditorium showing the history of Malta in 7000 years.
Day Tour to Marsaxlokk and Blue Grotto
Following breakfast, you set off on a 6-hour tour with a private guide-driver and explore Maltese most sought-after attractions.
The first place on your agenda today is a tour of the Hagar Qim Temples. This prehistoric temple complex dates back to the late Neolithic era and is a noted UNESCO archaeological site. The mysterious Hagar Qim was built more than 5000 years ago, making it older than Stonehenge.
Afterward, weather permitting, you have a short public boat ride (about 20 minutes) to the iconic wonder - the Blue Grotto. This scenic natural site boasts beautiful caverns, arches, and caves against the blue waters.
Another highlight of the day is a visit to the port-town Marsaxlokk. You have some time to enjoy Malta's traditional fishing village and its colorful luzzu boats.
After the tour you return to the hotel and have the rest of the day free.
Day Tour to Mdina & Mosta and Dinghi Cliffs
In the morning after breakfast, you have a 6-hour tour with your private guide-driver to the outstanding Maltese towns Mdina and Mosta.
Upon arrival to Mdina, the ancient capital of Malta, you have a guided sightseeing tour. You enter the Baroque Cathedral of St Paul and visit the Roma Villa of St Paul. You also get to admire other city sights, its impressive bastions and the imposing Greek gate.
You then continue to the gorgeous Dingli cliffs, which are among the most notable natural sites in Malta.
Your next stop today is Mosta, where you see its most recognizable sight - the Rotunda of Mosta. This church dates back to the 17th century and has the third largest rotunda dome in the world.
After the tour you return to the hotel and have the rest of the day at leisure.
Full Day Tour to Gozo Island
Today after breakfast prepare for an exciting day trip. Together with your private guide-driver, you make your way to the port in the north of Malta where you take a ferry to Gozo Island. Get ready for an amazing adventure awaiting!
Upon arrival, you see the main sites of Gozo, including the medieval Citadel located in the capital of Gozo, the city of Victoria. Then continue your trip to see the famous Inland Sea in Dwejra and another highlight of the day is a short public boat ride to Dwejra Bay. Enjoy impressive views of the rocky cliffs in the Xlendi Bay. As a grand finale of the tour, you explore the Ggantijja Temples, dating back to between 3600 and 3200 B.C.
After the tour, you return to the hotel and have the rest of the evening free.
