Arrival and Departure to Mecca
Welcome to Medina, home to the Prophet's Mosque (Al-Masjid an-Nabawi), which contains the tomb of the Prophet Muhammad. It’s a major pilgrimage destination for Muslims, especially during Hajj and Umrah.
Medina is the city where the Prophet Muhammad established the first Islamic community after his migration from Mecca in 622 CE, an event known as the Hijra. It became the setting for many pivotal moments in early Islamic history, including the drafting of the Constitution of Medina, a groundbreaking charter for governance and peaceful coexistence.
The city is home to significant landmarks such as Quba Mosque—the first mosque in Islam—and Qiblatain Mosque, where the direction of prayer was divinely changed from Jerusalem to Mecca. Medina is also renowned for its traditional markets, distinctive Islamic architecture, and peaceful atmosphere. Each year, millions of visitors are drawn to its sacred sites, seeking both prayer and a deeper connection to the city’s profound spiritual heritage.
Arrival and Umrah
On arrival in Mecca, you’ll check into your hotel.
After your journey, allow yourself some rest. Once ready, perform ghusl (ritual purification) and put on the ihram—two white cloths for men, and modest, full-covering clothing for women. With calmness and presence of heart, make your intention for Umrah at the appointed Miqat.
Upon reaching Masjid al-Haram, begin with Tawaf, circling the Kaaba seven times. Then offer two rak‘ahs of prayer near Maqam Ibrahim, drink from the blessed Zamzam water, and complete Sa‘i between Safa and Marwah. Conclude by exiting the state of ihram, marking the completion of your Umrah.
Afterward, return to your hotel to rest and have dinner. Later, go back to the Haram for Maghrib and Isha prayers, and devote some time to personal worship near the Kaaba.

Morning Devotion and Pilgrim’s Trail
Begin your day with a serene sunrise Tawaf, circling the Kaaba in the calm of the early morning when the crowds are lighter. Afterward, spend time in personal worship within the Haram or attend a scholar’s lecture to deepen your spiritual understanding and connection.
Hike to Hira Cave on Jabal al-Nour, about an hour’s climb, where Prophet Muhammad received the first revelation. Start early to avoid the midday heat and spend time reflecting on the divine origin of the Qur’an in this sacred space. Continue to Jabal Thawr, a 20-minute hike to the cave where the Prophet and Abu Bakr sought refuge during their migration to Medina. Return to Masjid al-Haram for Dhuhr prayer, carrying with you the profound weight of these historic and spiritual moments.
Join Isha prayer in Masjid al-Haram, immersing yourself in its vast, spiritual atmosphere under the night sky. Rest at your hotel to recover from travel, or perform a light Nafl Tawaf if you feel energized for more worship.

Spiritual Renewal and Acts of Kindness
In the morning attend Fajr prayer at Masjid al-Haram. Arrive early to sit closer to the Kaaba.
Spend 1-2 hours after Fajr reciting Quran or making dua in the mosque. Focus on personal supplications for yourself, family, and the ummah.
After breakfast and rest, dedicate part of your afternoon to acts of charity, supporting the needy around the Haram or contributing to local initiatives that help pilgrims and the community. These small acts of service allow you to embody the spirit of giving emphasized during pilgrimage. Return to your hotel for lunch and rest, ensuring you have the energy for evening worship.
In the evening, return to Masjid al-Haram for Maghrib and Isha prayers, joining the congregation in the peaceful ambiance of the mosque. Afterward, spend extended time in dhikr (remembrance of Allah) or Quran recitation, deepening your spiritual connection and reflecting on the day’s experiences.

Fajr Worship & Kiswah Discovery
Begin your day with Fajr prayer at Masjid al-Haram, arriving early to secure a good spot near the Kaaba. If you feel energized, perform a voluntary Tawaf, circling the Kaaba seven times, one of the most rewarding acts of devotion in Mecca. Take time afterward for personal dua or Quran recitation, finding a quiet space in the mosque to reflect and connect spiritually.
Later, visit the Kaaba Kiswah Factory to discover the artistry behind the sacred cloth that covers the Kaaba. Learn about its rich history, witness the meticulous craftsmanship of skilled artisans, and gain a deeper appreciation of this enduring Islamic tradition. Return to Masjid al-Haram to perform Dhuhr prayer, concluding the morning with worship and reflection.

Mount Arafat Reflection and Extended Night Prayers
Begin the morning with a visit to Mount Arafat, where you will spend approximately two hours in prayer on the Plains of Arafat, the site where the Prophet Muhammad delivered his Farewell Sermon. This profound and moving experience allows you to reflect deeply, strengthen your spiritual connection, and embrace the significance of this sacred location—a truly unforgettable highlight of your journey.
Begin your evening by attending Maghrib and Isha prayers at Masjid al-Haram, immersing yourself in the peaceful rhythm of worship alongside fellow pilgrims. After completing the congregational prayers, take some time to rest or reflect quietly within the mosque.
If you feel energized, participate in the tahajjud (late-night) prayers, a deeply rewarding time for personal supplication, Quran recitation, and spiritual reflection. The tranquil night atmosphere of the Haram offers a unique opportunity to strengthen your connection with Allah, seek forgiveness, and make heartfelt prayers, creating a profoundly moving and memorable experience during your stay in Mecca.

Mina’s Legacy of Pilgrimage
In the morning, travel to Mina, where you’ll see the remarkable tent city that accommodates millions of pilgrims during Hajj. Continue to the Jamarat Bridge, the site of the symbolic stoning ritual, which serves as a powerful reminder of the trials and devotion of the pilgrimage journey. These sacred sites bring the experience of Hajj to life, even outside the season.
After exploring these landmarks, end your day at Masjid al-Haram with Maghrib and Isha prayers, perform a farewell Tawaf (Tawaf al-Wada), and spend time in reflection, dua, and seeking blessings.

Final Blessings & Departure
On your final day in the holy city, spend meaningful time in Masjid al-Haram, offering prayers and personal supplications near the Kaaba. Dedicate these moments to gratitude, reflection, and asking Allah to accept your worship and guide your journey ahead.
Before your departure, join the congregation for Maghrib or Isha prayers if time allows, leaving Mecca with peace in your heart and the hope of returning again, Insha’Allah.
Then you check out from your hotel and depart from Mecca to Medina Airport.
