Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech

Welcome to the colorful city of Marrakech! Your driver meets you at the exit gates of the airport holding a sign with your name on it and transfers you to your traditional Moroccan riad.

The rest of the day is free so you can either explore the fantastic center of Marrakech on your own, dine in one of the local restaurants or take a good rest before the rich sightseeing program planned for the following day.

No meals included.

Day 2: Marrakech City Tour

After breakfast you meet your private guide and start exploring the most interesting historical and cultural sights of the “red city of Morocco”, including the Saadian Tombs, the Ben Youssef Madrasa, and the Bahia Palace.

Following lunch you are transferred outside the Medina to visit one of the most fascinating gardens in Morocco, the Majorelle Gardens, and have a short visit to the new city.

You finish your sightseeing tour at Jamaa el Fna square where you have some free time to walk among magicians, story-tellers and food sellers crowding the square, and buy some traditional souvenirs.

After the tour you return to your riad and have the rest of the day free.

Day 3: Trip to Atlas Mountains

After breakfast you meet your driver and begin a full-day exploration of the deep Berber country in the High Atlas Mountains.

You first go to the Agafay Desert to experience stunning dunes. Then continue on to the Lalla Takerkoust region, making your first stop on the hills overlooking the lake. From here you begin a 4x4 adventure on dirt tracks on which you make your way up to the Kik Plateau, driving from village to village and meeting the locals.

In the Imlil Village, located in the heart of Toubkal National Park, you get a choice of either going on a one-hour hike to the Armed village or to continue driving to the village, providing more time on the spot.

Once you arrive in the village you are served delicious traditional Berber lamb tagine for lunch at a local home. You also enjoy Moroccan salads, traditional mint tea and homemade bread during the meal.

After a short relaxation break you meet your driver who takes you back to Marrakesh. The rest of the day is free.

Breakfast and lunch with the Berbers is included.

Day 4: Trip to Essaouira

After breakfast you enjoy a 2,5-hour trip to the beautiful coastal city of Essaouira, known as the Jewel of the Atlantic for its characteristic blue doors, white houses and authentic old town atmosphere.

Upon arrival you have a guided tour around the most interesting city attractions. During the tour you visit the historical Skala Fortress and take a walk through the alleys of the medina viewing hundreds of handicrafts, including Thuya wood carvings.

Later you visit the women's cooperative of Argan oil, where you can learn more about the process of extracting this precious oil that is famous for its culinary, cosmetic and medical properties.

After lunch at the fish market you are transferred back to your riad at Marrakech.

Day 5: Arrival in Madrid

After breakfast you have the rest of the morning free to continue exploring amazing Marrakech attractions on your own.

In the afternoon you check out from your hotel and your driver transfers you to the airport for your short flight to Madrid. Upon arrival you are transferred to your centrally located hotel for overnight.

Recommended dining: Botín Restaurant.

Day 6: Madrid City Tour

After breakfast you meet your guide and have a city tour around unique Madrid attractions. During the tour you explore Madrid de los Austrias - the historical area of the Spanish capital. Most of the monuments date back to the 16th and 17th centuries when Spain was ruled by the House of the Hapsburgh. 

You see the Plaza de Oriente, enter the gorgeous Royal Palace called Palacio Real, take a glimpse at the Catedral Nuestra Señora de la Almudena and Major Street. Then you proceed to the Plaza de la Villa, stop by St. Michel's Market and walk down the picturesque Cava de San Miguel. Your final stops are Plaza Mayor and the breathtaking Puerta del Sol.

In the evening you are invited to visit the most famous flamenco tablao in Madrid - the Corral de la Moreria, where you enjoy a fantastic flamenco show.

Day 7: Visit to the Prado Museum

Following breakfast you check out from your hotel and meet your guide who takes you to one of the world's greatest art galleries and Madrid's top cultural sight - the Prado Museum.

It houses its unique collection of the Spanish fine art at the numerous halls and rooms of the 18th-century Neo-Classical building. During the tour you see the most significant gems of the museum’s collection, including the famous masterpieces of El Greco, Velazquez, Goya, Raphael and Rubens.

After the tour you return to your hotel and have the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 8: Train Ride to Barcelona and Old Town

Following breakfast you check out from your hotel and your driver transfers you to the railway station where you board a high-speed train to Barcelona.

Upon arrival you are transferred to your centrally located hotel for check-in. Then you meet your guide who takes you on a walking tour around the most outstanding attractions of Barcelona.

Barcelona obtains one of the biggest and architecturally diverse Medieval districts in Europe. During the tour you get to see Barcelona's Old Town called "Casc Antic" and its medieval landmarks.

Your tour begins with a walk through the maze of old narrow streets of the Gothic Quarter, go inside the Barcelona Cathedral, pass through the former Jewish District, St. Jaume Square and Square of the King, see the Generalitat Palace, the City Hall and the former Royal Palace (from the outside), and explore the Ribera Shore District where you see the Santa María del Mar Church. You also enter the Barcelona Cathedral located in the Gothic Quarter.

The tour finishes on the most vivid street in Barcelona La Rambla, abundant in modern shops, arts and crafts stalls and numerous open air cafes and restaurants, where you can take some rest and enjoy the bustling life of Barcelona.

Day 9: Gaudi Tour

After breakfast you meet your private guide and enjoy a fantastic half-day sightseeing tour dedicated to the world-renowned architectural works of Antonio Gaudi.

During the tour you get to see Gaudi's astonishing creations and find out some facts about his one-of-a-kind construction techniques and his life story. You start with a visit to the astonishing Sagrada Familia Cathedral that is rightfully considered the most recognizable symbol of Barcelona. It is also the most brilliant masterpiece of Gaudi that he worked on for 43 years.

The day is crowned with a visit to the colorful Park Guell, where you spend some time strolling through its mosaic paths, enjoying the great city views and fairy tale-like atmosphere.

Today you also see the beautiful Batlló House and Milà House with modernist designs and futuristic shapes.

After the tour you return to your hotel and have the rest of the day free.

Day 10: Free Day in Barcelona

This day is free for you to continue exploring Barcelona and its amazing attractions on your own or join one of our carefully designed optional tours.

Optional tour #1: Gastronomic Tour
This 2-hour walking tour is aimed at enhancing your knowledge of the finger-licking Spanish cuisine and the centuries-old traditions of eating and drinking in Barcelona. During the tour you walk though the old part of the city, visit the legendary market Boqueria and taste typical catalan dishes, drinks and tapas.

Optional tour #2: Trip to Montserrat Monastery
After breakfast you enjoy a full day trip to the Montserrat - the picturesque multi-peaked mountain in the middle of Spain’s first national park. During the tour you visit the Monastery of Santa Maria de Montserrat, learn more about the history of the region, take a walk through the beautiful park and enjoy excellent views toward Barcelona. After the tour you are transferred back to your hotel in Barcelona.

Optional tour #3: Camp Nou Tour & Museum
This Camp Nou tour takes you behind the scenes of the FC Barcelona - the biggest football stadium in Europe. During the tour you retrace the footsteps of the football legends visiting the changing room before walking through the players tunnel onto the stadium. Then you visit the chapel, presidential box and press box with a panoramic view of the stadium, and see the FC Barcelona documentaries in the multi-media zone. You finish the tour with a visit to the FC Barcelona Museum.

Day 11: Departure from Barcelona
