The ancient town of Modena is known as the "Supercar Capital" of the world, as you've definitely heard about its calling card: the Motor Valley.

Arrival in Modena

Welcome to Modena, Italy's major city, famous for the Motor Valley. Upon arrival, you are transferred to the hotel for the check-in.

The rest of the day is at your own leisure to relax after the trip.

Please note: You may enhance your trip by staying at the Maranello Village hotel, devoted to the Ferrari car brand.

Comprehensive Ferrari Tour & Panini Museum

Following breakfast in the hotel, you meet your private driver to start a full day tour devoted to amazing cars. Start with a visit to an organic farm combining regional specialties production along with the unique cars collection of Umberto Panini, located in the very heart of the farm.

Take the chance to see the final part of the Parmigiano Reggiano process and enjoy the cheese tasting. Then you witness the collection of cars including the dominant brand, Maserati, in total 22 gorgeous creations.

Continue to the Ferrari Museum in Maranello* where a local guide leads you through the vast collection of the brand. After some time for lunch, you are taken to the Enzo Ferrari Museum located in the center of Modena. Here you have time to explore the collection (self-guided), which takes you back in time and allows you to see the most experimental power units designed by Enzo and his father.

After the tour is over you return to the hotel located in a walking distance from the museum.

*Note: In Maranello you may add a special 10-minute test-drive on a Ferrari and also take a bus tour to the Ferrari Factory!

Lamborghini Museum & Factory Tour

After breakfast in the hotel, meet your private driver and devote your day to the fantastic Lamborghini brand. You begin with a 50-minute factory tour next to the assembly stations of the Aventador line and the saddlery with a guide who explains in detail the production process.

Take your time to explore the museum and continue to the Ferruccio Lamborghini Museum located in the center of the Motor Valley. Here, along with the industrial productions of Ferruccio, you see his personal collection, like the famous Miura SV, the futuristic Countach, Jarama model, Urracos and Espada with seagull wing doors, and all his mechanical creations. The tour with the guide lasts about 1 hour and after you have some free time before you are taken back to the hotel.

Maserati Showroom & Factory Tour

Following breakfast in the hotel, you walk to the Maserati brand showroom where you enjoy a factory tour. During the 1.5-hour tour, you are introduced to the Maserati brand in the showroom and are then taken for a visit to the assembly line of the Maserati Gran Cabrio and GranTurismo, as well as the testing and finishing areas.

Here you get to know more about its production in Italy with a long history from a small workshop in 1914 to a factory with the highest technical and quality standards. After the tour is over, you have some free time to continue the exploration of the showroom or the city on your own.

Recommendation: highlight your free time with a 3-lap drive on a Ferrari or Lamborghini on the Modena Autodrome.

Pagani & Ducati Factory Tours

After breakfast in the hotel, meet your private driver and devote your day to fantastic luxury sports cars and Pagani and Ducati racing motorcycles. Your first stop is the Pagani Museum and factory. Together with a local guide, you see the showrooms, design offices, and assembly lines where Pagani's Hypercars are entirely built by hand with a carbon fiber frame and are customized one by one.

Continue to one of the most important museums of the Motor Valley to have a tour at the Ducati Museum and factory. It preserves over half a century of Ducati racing history and the history of the company, and today you have a chance to discover it with a local guide.

After the tour, you have a transfer back to the hotel.

This is the last day of your amazing tour to Italy's Motor Valley! After breakfast, you check out from the hotel and depart from Modena!

What To Know

  • You can expect to find some shops and restaurants closed from 1-4 p.m. as it is "Riposo" time, Italy’s midday siesta. Most places will be also closed on Sundays
  • Most restaurants won't open until 7 p.m. or later
  • Tipping in restaurants is included in the bill, the cover charge is called "coperto". A charge from $1 to $3 will be noted on the menu
  • Make sure you have coins, in Italy, you will be typically charged from 1 to 2 Euros to enter a public restroom
