Moscow - Nice Train
Originally launched on 23 September 2010, the Moscow - Nice train has been considerably upgraded in 2015. The train route is one of the longest in Europe, covering 3,315 km and passing 8 countries: Russia, Belarus, Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, Italy, Monaco and France. The train consists of three deluxe carriages, six 1st class carriages, one second-class carriage and two restaurant cars.

Lux Cabin
Deluxe cabins can perfectly accommodate two passengers, as they come equipped with a lower sofa bed (with the width of 120 cm) and an upper berth (with the width of 90 cm). Each cabin features an individual WC with a shower, a wash basin and a portable toilet, as well as TV, DVD-player, individual wall split air conditioner and closet.

First Class Cabin
Suitable for double occupancy, First Class cabins feature two lower berths, a reclining chair, air conditioning and a private wash-basin. The shower and toilet facilities are available in each car.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Nice 

Welcome to Nice - the gem of the French Riviera! Your driver meets you at the exit gates of the airport holding a sign with your name on it and transfers you to your centrally located hotel. The rest of the day is free so you can either explore the fantastic center of Nice on your own, dine in one of the local restaurants or take a good rest before the rich sightseeing program planned for the following day.

This famous 5-star hotel dating back to the early 20th century opened its doors to many outstanding guests, including Dali, Picasso, Alain Delon, Frank Sinatra, The Beatles, Edith Piaf, Ernest Hemingway and Winston Churchill. Day 2: Nice City Tour

After breakfast you check out from your hotel and go on a guided city tour around the most stunning Nice attractions.

During the tour you take a walk along the famous Promenade des Anglais, visit the main city square Massena, explore the picturesque Old Town and climb to the Castle Hill, where you see the ruins of the former Chateau de Nice, take a walk around the beautiful park and enjoy the best views over Nice.

After the tour you return to your hotel and have the rest of the day free.

Day 3: Trip to Monaco & Menton

In the morning you meet your guide and a driver and travel to the tiny royal principality Monaco surrounded by France and the Mediterranean Sea.

During the tour you see one of the oldest and most fashionable casinos in Europe, Monte-Carlo Casino, visit the official royal residence, the Prince's Palace and go inside the Cathedral of Monaco to see the tombs of Princess Grace and Prince Rainier III. 

You finish the tour with a visit to the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco that holds a fantastic collection of marine life and sea-related objects and the world-famous Aquarium consisting of more than 90 pools with the rarest species of sea fauna.

Then you take a trip to the cozy coastal town Menton located on the border with Italy. You take a walk at the authentic Old Town, visit a traditional market to buy some local food and souvenirs, see the 17th century baroque Basilica of Saint-Michel and explore the old cemetery that boasts of the most magnificent views of the surroundings.

In the evening you return to your hotel in Nice for overnight.

Day 4: Free Day or Optional Tours

This day is free for you to continue exploring Nice and its magnificent surroundings on your own. Or you can choose to join one of our carefully-designed optional tours to diversify your travel experience of Nice.

Optional tour #1: Visit to Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild

Enjoy a trip to the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild that used to be a summer residence of Baroness Beatrice de Rothschild. During the tour you see the unique examples of antique furniture, luxurious carpets, old paintings, sculptures and a fantastic collection of rare French porcelain that is considered to be one of the richest in France. Then you explore the villa's brilliant garden set up in the form of the ship with the Mediterranean Sea visible on all sides. You take a leisurely walk in nine theme gardens, including Spanish, French, exotic, a Japanese and a rose garden, and enjoy fantastic views of the Beaulieu Bay to the East and the Bay of Villefranche sur Mer to the west. After the tour you are transferred back to your hotel in Nice.

Optional tour #2: Trip to Eze Village

In the morning you are transferred to the picture-postcard Eze Village famous for its charming medieval atmosphere, authentic look and mind-boggling sea views. During the tour you visit the exotic cactus garden, see the old castle ruins and take a walk along the Nietzsche Path following the steps of the outstanding German philosopher who lived in Eze for some time and wrote one of his most famous works "Thus Spoke Zarathustra" there. After the tour you are transferred back to your hotel in Nice.

In the evening you are transferred to the railway station to board a train that takes you to Vienna. Overnight on board your train.

Day 5: Arrival in Vienna

In the late afternoon you arrive in the gorgeous capital of Austria - Vienna! Upon arrival you are transferred to your centrally located hotel for check-in.

The rest of day is free, so you can start exploring the amazing city center of Vienna on your own or take a good rest after the train journey.

Day 6: Vienna City Tour

After breakfast you meet your guide who takes you on a 3,5-hour walking tour around the most famous attractions of Vienna.

First you see the impressive Vienna State Opera House and then walk through the pedestrian street Kärntnerstrasse to explore the amazing St. Stephen's Cathedral from the outside. You continue walking along the bustling shopping area Graben that takes you to the famous Plague Column dedicated to the victims of the terrible plague epidemic of 1679.

Next you see the fantastic buildings of the Austrian National Library, the Museum of Fine Art, the Museum of Natural History, the neoclassical Parliament, Europe's second-oldest theater the Burgtheater and the striking City Hall.

You finish the tour with a visit to the former winter residence of the Habsburgs, Hofburg Palace, where you explore a number of interesting rooms and halls, including the Imperial Apartments, the Sisi Museum and the Imperial Silver Chamber.

After the tour you return to your hotel and have the rest of the day free.

Optional evening activity: Music Concert at Kursalon

In the evening you are invited to visit a fantastic music concert in the Lanner Hall of the Kursalon, performed by the Salonorchester Alt Wien - one of the best-known interpreters of classical Viennese music. You enjoy amazing sounds of waltzes, polkas, arias, duets and piano melodies accompanied by excellent opera vocalists and ballet soloists. Your VIP tickets include prime seating in the first two rows and a glass of sparkling wine during the interval. Private transfers from and to hotel are included.

Day 7: Trip to Vienna Woods

After breakfast you meet your guide and a driver who take you outside of Vienna to the beautiful Vienna Woods.

During the tour you pass by the former mill Höldrichsmühle, where the composer Franz Schubert created his music. Then you arrive at the Seegrotte, where you visit the old mine and take a boat ride on Europe's largest underground lake.

Later you make a stop at the amazing 12th-century Abbey Heiligenkreuz, where you see the medieval cloister, the fountain house and the chapter house, where the last Babenberger ruler is buried. 

You continue driving by the memorial chapel of Mayerling - the site where Crowne Prince Rudolph committed suicide in 1889, and finally reach the famous spa town of Baden, where you have some time to explore its charming 19th century architecture, including the Grand Casino, the Emperor’s villa and the Beethoven’s house.

Your way back to Vienna lies through the picturesque vineyards of Gumpoldskirchen. If you wish you can stop for a glass of wine and a piece of traditional apple strudel in one of the local wineries.

Upon returning to Vienna you have the rest of the day free.

Optional evening activity: Danube Boat Ride

In the evening you experience a wonderful boat cruise that takes you along the Danube canal to see the city from a completely new perspective. During the cruise you enjoy traditional Viennese wine tavern dinner accompanied with enchanting live music. Cruise duration is 3,5 hours.

Day 8: Free Day or Optional Trip Danube Valley

This day is free for you to continue exploring Vienna and its amazing attractions on your own or join our optional trip to Danube Valley.

Optional tour: Trip to Danube Valley

After breakfast you meet your guide and a driver who take you to the Wachau - a picturesque valley along the Danube that is most famous for its excellent wine. Upon arrival to the ancient city of Melk you are transferred to the nearby Benedictine Abbey, where you visit its magnificent baroque halls, the amazing library and the beautiful church with the unique frescoes. Later you board a comfortable boat and start sailing downstream to Dürnstein. During the cruise you pass picture-postcard vineyards, orchards, fortresses and castles and hear about the history and legends connected with this region. Upon arrival to Dürnstein you have some time to walk through the beautiful city center and explore its most popular attraction. After the tour you are transferred back to Vienna.

Optional evening activity: Opera or ballet performance at the Vienna State Opera.

Day 9: Departure from Viennaor Optional Extension to Venice or Warsaw

Day 10: First Day in Venice or Warsaw

Venice City Tour

After breakfast you meet your guide and enjoy a walking tour around the most famous city attractions, including the famous Bridge of Sights, the iconic Piazza San Marco and the mind-boggling Doge's Palace, where you see its most beautiful halls and and priceless paintings by renowned Venetian masters.

Then you visit the fantastic Basilica San Marco that will inspire you with its golden mosaics and precious marbles, the Pala d'Oro and works of art that have turned the church into one of the most beautiful monuments in the world.

Later you embark on a private watertaxi for a panoramic tour along the awesome Grand Canal and the hidden smaller canals.

After the tour you return to your hotel and have the rest of the day free.

Warsaw City Tour

After breakfast you have a guided city tour around the most outstanding Warsaw attractions. You start the tour with a visit to the New Town to explore its most interesting sights, including a central New Town Market, the Multimedia Fountain Park and the house where a famous Polish scientist Maria Sklodowska-Curie was born.

Then you proceed through the Barbican to the adjacent historical Old Town, where you see the colorful Old Market Square with the iconic sculpture of the Mermaid, enjoy the views of the beautiful old churches and take a walk along the historical City Walls.

You finish your city tour at Castle Square where you visit the Royal Castle, where you see its most splendid interiors, including the Court rooms, the Parliamentary rooms and the Royal apartments.

Day 11: Second Day in Venice or Warsaw

Trip to Burano & Murano, Venice

After breakfast you meet your guide and board a private watertaxi that takes you through the Venetian lagoon to the amazing islands of Murano and Burano.

You start your tour with a visit to Murano that is worldwide known for its exquisite glass works. During the tour you go to its famous glass factory where you see the process of glassblowing and visit the showroom full of outstanding examples of glassware.

Then you travel to the picturesque village of Burano famous for its lace-making industry. You have some free time to walk through the colorful Burano streets and visit local shops to buy some traditional souvenirs.

After the tour you are transferred back to Venice and have the rest od the day free.

Visit to the Wilanow Palace & Lazienki Park, Warsaw

After breakfast you meet your guide and visit one of the most amazing monuments of Polish Baroque architecture - the Wilanow Palace.

During the tour of this "Little Versailles" you visit the Gallery of Polish Portraits, see luxurious royal apartments, including the Crimson Hall and the Cabinet of the Etruscans, and enjoy a leisurely walk at the fantastic palace garden.

Your next destination is Warsaw's most beautiful park - the Lazienki. During your panoramic tour you see the most outstanding monuments of the park, including the Palace on the Island, the White House pavilion, the Old Orangery, the Myślewicki Palace and Chopin's monument. You also have the chance to meet numerous squirrels and majestic peacocks wandering around the park.
