The Bay of Islands has the Second bluest sky in the World after Rio De Janeiro.

On arrival to Paihia you will join a 4 and half hour guided cruise in search of Dolphins and other Marine life in New Zealand and a visit to the famous Hole in the Rock.
You will be cruising on the Catamaran between the bays and the 144 islands in the area.

You will have a stopover on Urupukapuka Island, where you can relax on the beach or walk to the top of the island to enjoy 360° views of this beautiful region.
You will be visiting the famous Hole in the Rock on Motukokako Island as the boat sails right to the end of the Cape Brett Peninsula.

Then we head back to Auckland through the scenic roads of Northland.

This morning you check out and meet your small group and travel in comfort from Auckland to Rotorua on this one day tour and experience the world-famous Lord of The Rings Hobbiton movie set in the heart of Middle Earth, as well as the charm of Rotorua City.

Please be aware that while lunch is not provided on this tour, there will be several opportunities for you to purchase food along the way.

Welcome to volcano city. Upon arrival you will be transferred to centrally located hotel. After some rest we invite you to traditional Maori dinner with special performance at Tamaki Maori Village. You will be transferred to ‘marae’ (Maori village) for an immersive evening that begins with a welcome ceremony by New Zealand's indigenous people. Learn about local customs and watch a powerful display of song and dance before a Hangi dinner. 

After breakfast you will enjoy exciting tour to Wai- O - Tapu Therman park. 

This stunning geothermal park amazes visitors with its diversity in colour ranging from bright orange to emerald greens. The park’s landscape is scattered with a huge variety of thermal activity; steaming lakes, bubbling mud and other fascinating terrain. 

Important not-to-miss highlight of the Wai-O-Tapu guided day tour is the “Mud Pool”. This feature was the site of a large mud volcano which was destroyed through erosion in the 1920′s. It now provides an opportunity to experience the captivating noise of bubbling mud. 

Walk through this wonderland via clearly defined tracks and enjoy the diversity of this area through a series of different walks taking from 30 to 75 minutes or more, each with their own unique volcanic vistas to fascinate all ages.

Upon arrival, you will be transferred to a centrally located hotel. The rest of the evening is free to enjoy the city on your own.

You'll begin with a visit to Courtenay Place and the Embassy Movie Theatre, famed for hosting world premieres of iconic movies such as "The Hobbit". 

The journey continues to Mt Victoria, where you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the city and harbor. This spot also serves as a gateway to the 'Green Belt', a lush forest area where several scenes from the movies were filmed. 

As the tour progresses, you'll head to 'Wellywood', the heart of Wellington's film studios and post-production facilities. 

A highlight of this segment is the Weta Workshop, known for its exceptional work in prop-making and special effects.
